The food here is so delicious and has a home cooking feel to it. The prices are pretty decent. I had a branzino filet and salad with rice. We also ordered the fried zucchini with a white yogurt sauce which was also delicious. You can reserve on their website or open table. It's always pretty busy but you can probably walk in and not too long.

We got the Mixed kebab platter-- the chicken was dry, the lamb was gamey, the rice was mushy, and the hummus was grainy. The food had all the signs of being reheated, and not fresh. Yelp review shows a 4.5 stars, but it is definitely not that. The service was good, but regrettably I would not recommend this place.

I had the worst experience ordering food from this place. I ordered a take out order (via Uber Eats) on 03/02/2024. There was a piece of metal pin in the doner kebab gyro my wife ordered. Having eaten here before I did not expect this to happen. Since I picked up the order myself, I know for a fact that the restaurant messed up the order. This is a major safety issue and I will not be ordering from here again.

I tried Agora for the first time yesterday with my family around lunch time and we all LOVED it! Nothing was left over LOL. We went around 3:00 on a Wednesday and it was perfect because it was calm. Food didn't take long and it came out amazing. The waitress was super nice and always refilled our waters and made sure everything was perfect. The atmosphere makes it feel like you're in Turkey, it's a nice little getaway from the concrete jungle right outside the door. Overall, amazing food and atmosphere and I highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible food and beautiful indoor seating the service was good it's a hole in the wall mom and pop shop with great authentic turkish flavors we got the babaganoush and truly it was the best i had in my life! also mixed grill platter combo was so much food for two people! the only downside is that it was 9pm and they wouldn't give tea because they close at 10pm and still offered dessert so it was confusing because tea would've hit no picks because we ate first before the phone could! 8/10

Without a doubt, this is my favorite Turkish restaurant in Manhattan. The hostess welcomes you and takes you to a table as soon as you walk in, and they also have outside seating. This is a small, comfortable space that can become crowded in the evenings. Reservations are not required; nevertheless, I advise attempting to arrive earlier in the evening. The hummus and baba ganoush are my favorites to start because they are clearly produced fresh every day. There is something really deliciously smoky about the flavor of the baba ganoush. I really like their Shepard Salad since it has a lot of feta cheese and is tasty and fresh. However, I always have their Chicken Adana for my main course, which is served with rice, grilled vegetables, and a cabbage salad. They have a fantastic menu and a unique option called the mixed grill plate, which is a terrific opportunity to try out their specialties if you'd rather try something else. A variety of dishes including chicken adana, lamb gyro, lamb meatballs, lamb shish, and lamb chop are served with the mixed grill. The pricing are fair and the meals are good. The dessert menu has a fantastic selection as well; my favorites are the rice pudding and the baklava. They also serve red and white wines on their wine menu.
