Popped in here whilst on a business trip with 2 colleagues. All had different sandwiches on Hero rolls. Quick, great service and sandwiches were great too. Sometimes there's two much of one ingredient, not enough of another but perfect combination. We only came here on our last day, wish it had been our first, would probably have come every day

I grabbed a quick lunch between meetings here. The food was decent. They have a counter facing the street that allowed me to people watch while I ate. They have a large selection of different foods.

Decent halal food truck for the area.Food quality is proportional to price.-can’t beat $7-8 for combo over rice.

SOO YUMMY. I planned to only eat half or else I’d fall asleep in my office but I ended up eating the whole thing, it was just delicious. 10/10

I was staying at a hotel nearby and looking for a place for a quick and easy dinner. The Best of New York was a great choice for me. I got the chicken chipotle sandwich. It had a generous portion of chicken cutlet and the chipotle sauce was tasty. They made the sandwich quickly. I also got the chocolate chip cake with a layer of cheesecake. It was very good.

I didn’t know gyros and a lamb/chicken biryani rice dish could be this delicious. Oh my god. $13 for two people. If this dude was in Vegas he’d be a line out the door and could charge $30.

Such great food, my favorite is the chicken over rice - it’s the best. An amazing price for FiDi too, I’ve ordered here at least 10 times in a few weeeks! Highly recommend

I have tried all the lamb, chicken, and fish over rice. My favourite is the chicken since it was so tasty and juicy. Besides that, I love its white sauce and the hot sauce is not too spicy. The price is reasonable and the portion is enough for lunch. The verdict is there is no halal certificate shown. Thus, overall this is my favourite food truck in lower Manhattan and it is better than the famous food truck around time square.

Wow... I miss this place I don't have a picture but the last time I ate there was the day before the pandemic... After that I started working from home then about a year later I went to empty my desk at the workplace.. but I got to tell you for years that was my spot and I'm so glad that he's still there serving what I call one of the best lunch spots in all of South Street Seaport.. if you are a worker still in that area or a tourist... That's the place to go if you really want to experience Real Halal Food takeout...
