This wine bar in midtown is a gem among the sea of Irish Pubs and delis. The service is top-notch and international, adding to the welcoming vibe. Went alone, sat at the bar and ordered a charcuterie which was excellent value and quality, paired perfectly with bold reds, handpicked with the help of their awesome servers. Loved it.

We stopped by for a bottle of wine before a show last month when our omakase dinner let us enough time for a few more drinks. We didn't have a reservation but got lucky - there were two seats at the bar when we arrived! The service was great, and the bartender talked us through some of the skin contact/natural options they had by the bottle and recommended one in particular. I'm glad we trusted her recommendation, because the wine was excellent, special. The space is cool - high ceilings, but dark and moody. Loved the ambiance. I'd happily return, drink another recommended bottle, and maybe even nosh on their cheese boards (which looked beautiful and delicious) before another show. A great place to drink some wine if you want a great, interesting selection (including natural, skin contact options).

You definitely want to hit this bar for a quick unwind for the best food and great choices of wine and needless to mention the great hospitality by Carolina. One of the most talented people out there. I’d like to thank you guys and Carolina specially for such a wonderful experience. I’ll be back sooner than you know

Great staff with deep knowledge of wines. Though can get pricey if trying many of their top wines...

Went for date night on a Tuesday and the atmosphere was great. We did not have a reservation but were able to get a spot on the comfy couch without waiting. We arrived at around 7:15. The atmosphere was great for talking. Low music and dim lighting made for great date vibes. We went after work, so were in smart casual/clean jeans. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine selection and helped us choose 5 great glasses of wine (we were all over that menu). We ordered three small plates. They were all very good, but the grilled avocado was very small. Overall, this was a great place for an intimate chat or a relaxed glass of wine. I will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: There were many vegetarian options but not identified as such so we had to ask the waitress. The ones we had were great!

Oh well...Coming after a lunch from le Bernardin for a bottle of wine and hang out a bit.Literally one of the worst service experiences. When asked for a paper napkin, we were told to get them from the bathroom. Excuse me... and we were 1 out of 3 tables... so not busy at all.. but server was more busy talking to each other. We are aware it's not le Bernardin but it's still has Aldos name on it. However still felt like it stained our whole experience for lunch as it seems connected. The good: great wine selection, great wine glasses and great vibe.. didn't try food... however staff needs seriously training..

A comfortable bar with a solid wine list. Tough to find a good bottle for less than $150 so a bit in the pricy

This is the perfect place for a relaxed drink. Any wine you choose will be amazing no matter what. The service here is impeccable - the wait staff are so friendly and attentive. Julia, the manager, is amazing at what she does! Highly recommend for anyone visiting NYC to stop by for a bottle or two.

Highlights: An impressive selection and knowledge of wine. Good charcuterie Good service Great eye candy - look at the shelves on the wall Enough of the highlights. We dropped in for a light bite to eat and some wine. We ordered their beef bresaola, along with a glass of Roman Ceremony and Castillo di Ama. We were sharing the glasses. Both wines were really good. The charcuterie was tasty and quite generous. Now look around - you'll see some molds on the shelves for example that look like glass halves. They are just that - the two pieces of wood that wine glasses are formed into. So much eye candy, from art on the walls, to the shelves of things to look at - it was really a nice experience. If and when we go back to New York, we'll make sure to stop back in. The bathrooms were very nice and clean. See the photos below. The place is impressive.
