After three day eating hot dog and hamburgers i need salad and pasta. I try the maccheroni cheese and are not good. The salad bar are marvelous. The space for eating indoor is not big. In the bathroom you can refill your bootle of water for free

I have been shopping in this place for 10 years and it was always a great experience Go there now and you will find nasty employees shortage of products and you are treated as a intruder Go to Trader Joe instead

Guys, what is up with the Whole Foods? It's the worst - the WORST. I was looking for a Whole Foods in the area and found this one, read some of the highlighted reviews indicating it was the worst one they have ever been to and I thought, How bad could it be? If it has food, I can just clean it off when I get home and it'll be fine. Oh, how wrong I was, there was no washing off the disgust of this place. Longest line I've seen at any Whole Foods in NYC since the pandemic started. Couldn't understand why it was so long if people were saying the store was so bad. Enough people shop here, it had to be decent enough. After about an hour of waiting, I walked inside to the smallest produce section I've ever seen in a Whole Foods. I felt dirty in there, the produce looked bad, employees walking around with masks on their chins or necks, lookin' cool. It was a maze here, I didn't know where anything was, zero organization, nothing made sense. The cashiers were rude, they weren't wearing their masks properly. The whole experienced sucked and I for sure will not be coming back to this location.

I'm a Whole Foods person, and I think they've done a great job so far with keeping clean and stocking up on items. The team members are always helpful and polite, but every now and then you'll get that one person who isn't having the best day. Honestly, I haven't had a bad experience so far. The line can be long, but it moves very quickly.

UPDATE: Danger!!!! Danger!!! The worst I ever been to!!! It's worst after pandemic. I went to deli counter and food is clearly few days old. It's so gross. I took a chance to come here again. Major let down. Opposite of fresh. Very very limited supply at hot and cold counter compared to other Whole Foods. DANGER HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT AND GROSS. Do not go here. It's extremely extremely not clean, not well kept and lacks customer service. First some of the workers are not informed of ingredients and told me wrong ingredients. Second I got really sick for a week after item two items from hot bar (different items from first issue). The general manager has been "on vacation" over a month. Third I saw pink chicken twice in the food hot bar. Fourth they do not label items well or at all at hot bar. This place was a disaster for me. Worst experience and I can only blame it on Amazon taking over because I never seen anything like this.

The seafood section of this particular store markets some of the freshest seafood in Manhattan. Their selection of fresh King and Sockeye salmon are positively mouth-watering. Rarely would I consume two meals of Swordfish in one week, except that after a sautéing for five minutes in olive oil, the fish was sliced with a fork while literally melting in my mouth. However, I would recommend the store stand by its mantra of selling healthy foods and stop selling Tilapia and review their sales of farmed Norwegian. On March 22 I had to wait on a 50 person line outside the store for about 25 minutes. Since the number of shoppers were fewer than usual, when I entered the store it was quite easy to get around. The shelves were filled and I was able to purchase everything I wanted, including a couple of six-packs of toilet paper. And best of all, there was no line at checkout. Five stars for professionalism.

I'm currently on a 10 day Green smoothie cleanse - so for the past 8 days I've been consuming mainly fruits and veggies. Whole foods is my go to spot for frozen fruit, I'm a huge fan of the 365 Everyday Value brand. I normally order food via Amazon Fresh but because of work, i had to make a visit to the store. This location is closest to my job. In comparison to the Union Square location, this one is on the smaller side. It has necessities and a buffet area. It was mayhem upon arrival, I went during my lunch around 4pm. The place was crowded and the lines were longgggg. I came in with a list of needs so i knew exactly what i needed. By the time i was ready to checkout, the line was calmer and I was out the store within 10 minutes. With the new bag policy, I went prepared with 2 reusable bags but they did offer Whole Food bags. They also asked if i was an Amazon Prime member, i opened the app and they scanned my phone for further savings.

This place is always a mad house - people are rude (customers mostly) with tight aisles, not the best shopping experience. Whole Foods as a Store is great, organic food that's accessible and a wonderful hot bar. Just be cautious of sticky fingers at the hot bar - people love to pick! I appreciate the prepackaged food they have and other quick grab items, that's why i keep coming back for lunch. Don't sweat the length of the line for checkout - it moves quick

This place has really gone downhill over this past year (2019-2020), empty shelves, ridiculously long lines, horrible customer service. Oh, but the prices are ok, if you can actually find what you're looking for. Thanks Jeff; you were able to maintain standards of quality for about six months. Went in this afternoon, corn out of stock, the milk I usually get out of stock, unsalted mixed nuts out of stock, mushroom Imagine soup out of stock, garlic granules out of stock, canned beans out of stock. Basically, almost every item I was searching for was out of stock. It looked the place was closing and having a 50% off sale. Trader Joe's can't open soon enough, but until then I'm going back to Morton Williams.

This store has gone steadily downhill since being bought by Amazon. From the lack of merchandise on the shelves, to the unmanageable crowds, to the cashiers that are no longer being trained. Looking forward to Trader Joe's opening on First Avenue.

This Whole Foods is the absolute worst! The employees are extremely rude. Tonight an employee was blocking most of the yogurt selection by sticking during the 6 pm rush on a Monday night. The yogurt was on sale so of course it was picked over. She proceeded to berate me after I took yogurt off the cart because she was in the way of the shelves. The cashiers are always chatting with each other and do a terrible job bagging the food such as putting fragile things under heavy things. There are constantly Prime shoppers with metal carts blocking everything. Tonight they also didn't have chicken thighs or arugula. Those are not odd items and I would expect them to be stocked. This Whole Foods was bad before the Amazon buyout and it has only gotten worse. Avoid this place like the plague it is. I just wish there was a Trader Joe's nearby...

There is an incredibly patient and helpful cashier named Mercedes who is an exemplary professional and amazing human being. Always with a smile buy never losing sight of the relevance of making the client feel at ease, she has always assisted me when my lack of tech skills results in not being able to access my Prime membership to confirm my loyalty to Whole Foods. I've seen other cashiers that simply brush me aside of may even make fun of me under their breath but Mercedes exudes elegance, class and a sense of integrity that our society lacks.
