Was in town for 5 days and this was a Godsend being across the street. Everyday I went in to get something to feed us and every penny was worth it. From drinks,to food, good selection in such a small place.Food is excellent, cooks friendly and fast, and the staff at the counter was on top of it all.Coffee was amazing, bagels to die for and the sandwiches ? are awesome. For those in town make sure to stop and get some sandwiches, the breakfast bagels are awesome!!Glad I had to walk, help burn the calories but worth it, every bite perfect!Vegetarian options: Have options and can just order with the meat options or depending on level of vegetarian will.fond something accommodating.

We had breakfast from this wonderful little marketplace for 3 straight days. The customer service was outstanding, the staff were all helpful and pleasant. The food breakfast sandwiches were served nearly to perfection each time. This was one of the delightful surprises we found on our trip to NYC March 24-28 2024

[NOTE: Ordered via Seamless app.] They got my order wrong on two separate occasions, and when I called the second time to report the issue, I was met with horrible customer service. The sandwich I ordered was missing key default ingredients that are listed in the item description (lettuce & tomato). When I called to bring this to their attention, the person I spoke to defiantly dismissed my concern and justified the error by saying "I only put in what's on the paper." Apparently, "the paper" only lists the customer's customizations (e.g., type of cheese, spreads, etc.), and he blamed me for not adding the standard ingredients. This is absurd because those are standard ingredients that CAN'T be added or removed when ordering in the Seamless app. Instead of offering any reasonable compensation for the error, his proposed solutions were to give my missing ingredients to the next customer who orders the same item, or to give me extra lettuce and tomato the next time I order. When I rejected these options, he hung up on me. I get that mistakes happen, but with customer service like this, there won't be a next time. Avoid.

I needed to buy lunch and dinner for the plane, and this place was closer than Zabar's. I was under time constraints. My mother and I had gotten sandwiches here before, and they were decent, although the bread was extremely bland. I decided on two paninis, knowing that I would likely only eat half of each, and have the rest the next day. The Cuban panini was VERY good. Then, a few hours later, I tried the Turkey Club panini. ACK! THE BACON WAS BASICALLY UNCOOKED!!!! AND EXTREMELY GRISTLY. Seriously, what the hell? This could be dangerous. The panini was therefore inedible at that point. I had to discreetly spit out the bite I'd taken. Ewwww! This was a SHOCKER. If I return here, I will most definitely avoid ANYTHING with bacon. This was extremely disappointing, as I very rarely eat bacon. It's an unhealthy treat. Service was meh at first. I stood in front of the counter and was ignored. I finally went to the register and asked how to order. The cashier said, "At the counter." I said, "Well, they're not paying attention." Walked back, and THIS TIME, someone asked what I wanted. Pffft. Cashier was friendly, though. Prices are very reasonable. Huge selection of sandwiches, wraps, paninis, etc. They have groceries, too. It's not a huge place. I would definitely get the Cuban panini again. But NOT the turkey club. Blech.

This is a solid place that is open late where you can get sandwiches or a variety of small snacks.

Enough is enough this place just raised their prices on the turkey sandwich from what was arrogant at $10.99 is now $14.00 for two pieces of rye bread turkey / cheese and a slice of tomato. They can go F themselves with these criminal prices never go in there cuz if you do you'll come out with your net worth dented. I can't imagine how much they raised their prices on everything else the lower prices they put on these boards is b******* compared to what you get charged at the register. Total SCAMMERSI've been living here for 20 years I'm willing to pay the highest for stuff the rest of the world pays a lot less for but the line has been crossed buy these clowns. Never again.

A nice market but very expensive. Lacks values and variety. Clean and organized. Food choices are minimal. No prices on anything and prices seem to change and be higher for non-locals.

Typical ok overpriced bodega but pay attention to what you are being charged. It varies depending on who is behind the register and I don’t think it’s inflation pricing…
