Family friendly place. Lots of kids. Pizza was very good and fresh tasting. Salad was ok but nothing special. No free refills on seltzer, which is weird.

This unpretentious, laid back restaurant specializes in Italian American comfort food and does a great job. The servers are welcoming and the place has a very family-friendly vibe, i.e. children are more than welcome here. The food, especially the pizza, is terrific. I would like to see a little more diversity among the main dishes but overall they have a good menu. The chicken parm is a standout item and the seafood is quite solid too.

The fellas wanted pizza so Angelo's we found. It was busy which is good, means to expect good food. We had to wait a first but the gentleman fast tracked us to a table upstairs. Did us a solid, appreciated it.Staff upstairs was just how you wanted it to be. Attentive but not overbearing.Menu wasn't extensive which shows me they ?? on what they serve. Got a large with peppers and sausage.????????????I'm not a big pizza eater but I can't deny the toppings, sauce was crazy good and it's coal oven baked. Recipe for delicious! They even boxed the food for me.Top it off with a homemade cheesecake ????If you thinking about Pizza but like it's NY pizza is everywhere, go to Angelo's!

They cancel orders for no apparent reason. Don’t give them business.

Have visited for a lunch during the New Year Holidays. Fast and good service regardless plenty of people. The food seemed to be common. Have tried a pizza, Italian soup and gnocchi. Don’t expect delicious food. Good place for a fast meal during the discovering NYC.

I go once a week. I started in 2009. They are very authentic. To survive everything the world has thrown at them is an astonishing feat.

Usually Angelos has Fantastic pizza - but lately they have been off their game - no longer getting crispy pizza , today they actually under cooked the pepperoni , which leads me to believe they either forgot it or upcycled a cheese to a pepperoni - and didn't make it work (see photo attached) really disappointed in what was once a GREAT pizza place now has fallen off - this place can snap back together and get on its game it can return to the level it once was

Good food -lousy service ruined the experience. This restaurant's service was slow and pretty sketchy. We had to repeat our requests several times for basic things like napkins. Portions are uneven, my cheese ravioli being on the small side. however, my partner enjoyed her dish. We should have ordered the pizza instead. We are not sure if we will return!

I would give this place a 3.5. Came here on a impromptu lunch on a weekday - wasn't too crowded, very chill laid back vibes. Quick, helpful and friendly staff, willing to accommodate the menu. Family-style optional. I've been here before and remembered some of their pasta was delicious but the pizza was just so-so. This time, we started out with the Burrata and eggplant. It was delicious but a little oily and salty. I ordered a Insalata Siciliana with grilled calamari (just says calamari on the menu so you need to ask). Again, delicious but the salad was a little salty- between the capers, olives etc. I would definitely order it again but try to go for less salty. The bread came out - it was just plain bread but it as SO good - warm and fluffy - addicting, I kept asking for more. Comparable prices to other nice Italian restaurants. There were two gender neutral bathrooms in the back - one was dirty so my friend waited for me to get out of mine. Overall great experience, good for groups, good food- will come back!

Great Food, service and Ambiance, but it's NY so expect to pay for it! Soon as I walked in I was greeted by a friendly maitre d, who sat me immediately. You always know the pizza is going to be good when you see the traditional brick and stone pizza oven behind the cook prepping the dough. I was given enough time to look over the menu and put in my drink. I order the custom calzone and the fried zucchini. The zucchini was amazing- light batter with a cool creamy dip with just enough seasoning. The calzone was bomb too, the the cheese did the "cheese thing" that you expect when you eat a pizza. Overall the food was good but the bill was definitely NY prices, $55. Overall good experience. Would recommend

Went on a rainy Sunday and ordered a cheese pie. Good customer service and food was tasty. Just one thing I wish the pizza stayed hotter longer. After finishing just one slice the rest cooled off really fast and didn’t taste as good. Will likely visit again.
