Excellent varied American breakfast ranging from sweet to savory.I highly recommend as they are very attentive to allergies/intolerances (I have gluten and milk proteins and have always been fine). We returned every day of our stay and I can only recommend it and send a warm greeting to the very kind staff!

I have spent the last 5 days visiting New York, and I was fortunate enough to be around the block from this wonderful restaurant. My husband and I ate at least one meal here every day we were here. The service was wonderful, the food plentiful, and I must give a shout out to our friendly and attentive waitress Maria. She was the bright spot of our day. I'm looking forward to our next trip to NYC and the delicious food at Applejack Diner.
This place USED to be such great breakfast/brunch diner, but it has "jumped the shark." The prices have increased to such an extent that it cost $87 + tip for three people to have breakfast.Worse, is that the Hostess that they have working there must have been recruited from a Russian Gulag. Not only was she rude, curt and bossy, but her attitude was more suited for a position in Kim Jong Un's cabinet than a welcoming Hostess. Here's a customer service tip: No one should feel marginalized, disparaged and maligned when entering the restaurant. No. One.The pancakes here are quite good, but you should bring your own authentic maple syrup since they use that fake corn syrup junk. The thing they call a croissant is a joke. It may be a Jurassic park size, but it's made out of who-knows-what and is nothing like a quality, flaky croissant that you actually want. This place is a pale shade of its former self. A real shame. Stay away.

Excellent place to eat every meal of the day. The manager Michael provides a fantastic and familiar environment. The food is top notch. Delicious. Franco and all the other servers are super friendly and make us feel like at home. The place is super clean including the restrooms. I will recommend this dinner at A 100% for any meal during the day. Prices are affordable and the food is great quality. My favorite place in NYC to eat. We went to NY for our wedding anniversary and we stayed from April 18th to the 23rd, and we went every day to eat at apple jack dinner. My husband and I love this place. Thank you Michael and all your staff for a great experience at apple jack dinner. Thank for being so welcoming and so sweet to our service dog and baby Rylee. We go to NYC every year and now we have a place that we will go again and again to enjoy delicious food. Excellent place, great food, and wonderful personnel. See you next time we come to NY. Thank you

Service is very nice and the ambience is pleasant. Food was fairly average (especially the potatoes) and not cheap for what you get.

It is difficult to evaluate it by European standards. In the US, it's a very decent establishment with really big portions and pleasant, kind staff. The taste is quite weak for me. The taste is less well balanced, rather the food is bland. But everyone knows how to add salt and spices according to their own taste. In terms of price, it is a New York standard. If you stop here, I think you will be satisfied.

Coming to this dinner is like being at home with our home being in Pennsylvania, but it's still nice. Every meal was made to perfection, and the waiters treated us with respect all in all. I give this diner a 10/10. I look forward to visiting this establishment next time.Kid-friendliness: The portions are really big, so make sure the little ones have room for the meal.

Ambience and service top. But worst meal in a diner we've had in NY so far. Hollandaise sauce was dried out on the egg Benedict.Tourist trap at timesquare.
