Was pretty skeptical about this place-- thought it may be overrated. But it definitely lived up to the hype! Every single dish we ordered was amazing. Reservations need to be made way in advance for a good time.

Their food is absolutely tasty, but i had to give 4 stars only because of the portion. I know things are getting expensive and more but the amount of food was too little. We ordered 4 things for 2 ppl we weren’t even full afterwards?

Delicious. Great for a group of 4 that are willing to try and share multiple items from the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this cozy Korean spot, and I was immediately struck by its vibrant atmosphere. Despite being busy and crowded, it contributed positively to the overall experience, creating an energetic and authentic vibe. The restaurant boasts a compact menu, a refreshing change that made choosing what to eat a breeze, without the usual decision fatigue. A standout dish for me was the lotus salad – unfortunately, I didn’t snap a picture, but believe me, it’s a must-try. The salad was delightfully crispy, featuring a medley of flavors that danced on the palate. On the flip side, the pork cheek, while tantalizing in photos, fell short of expectations. It had a gamy taste that was off-putting, and the flavors, far from being bold, were disappointingly muted. The broth, however, was a high point. The beef broth was rich and flavorful, a real treat. We also tried the seafood baguette, which was a mixed bag. The bread, unfortunately, was not toasted, leaning towards the stale side, but the seafood filling itself was delicious.Dessert was another highlight – the sweet corn crème brûlée. It was an inventive take on a classic dessert, perfectly paired with white chocolate, making for a memorable end to our meal.Overall, this restaurant is a fantastic find. Despite a few hiccups, the quality of the dishes and the unique dining experience make it a place worth visiting.

Food was amazing. It was a little pricey with plates being on the smaller side, so value wasn't that great. BUT, the food was stellar and service was attentive. Would go back again!

Very unprofessional. Their last seating is at 9:30. However, when we arrived at 9:28, they denied our seating. Why would you have your last reservation at 9:30 and then say you are finished for the day at 9 28. Obviously, the kitchen is still open as there are customers still ordering more food. If you plan to close before 9 30 then the schedule should be adjusted accordingly. Not just tell us that you closed because you dont want to serve anymore

Really great japchae and seafood pancake. I think the fried eel was alright. The atmosphere was good and so was the service. I'd go back.

I ordered the scallop Kimbap, yuk-kwe (seasoned steak tartar), monk fish and chap chae. I was really impressed with how they fused the new and traditional styles of Korean cooking to create tasty and warm feeling dishes.

My friend and I ordered:Seafood pancakeDolsot Al bapDuck bulgogiSpicy monkfishCorn creme bruleeI would definately go back for the dolsot al bap and spicy monk fish dishes. The dolsot comes w a beautiful uni creme combined with the crispy bits of rice and textural experience of the fish roe was amazing. The Spicy monk fish had ~4 to 5 small pieces coated with smokey/spicy sauce and some veggies mixed w rice was a great combo.I personally judge a place on how crispy the seafood pancakes are and this was CRISPY. Definately would get again, it was also full of big chunks of seafood which is always a plus. The duck bulgogi was the least memoriable. It had the texture of duck but mainly just tastes like regular bulgogi.Corn creme brulee was sweet but overly sweet with a minimal corn flavor and some corn bits at the bottom.Service:9/10The waitress helping us get seatted for our rsvp were accomodating with grtting a seat closer to the wall vs the aisle. Our waiter was informative and had great sense when asking if we wanted to take any pictures/videos before mixing the Al bap for us.Also advising both of us to get two dishes before we ordered was helpful. Before peak hours, the atmosphere was pleasant. But, the tables are very close together and when its packed during peak hours it can be challenging speaking to one another due to the level of noise/conversation.

Not worth the hype at all. The uni rice was good but way overpriced. Soft shell crab was just greasy and pork with squid was also just mediocre. They shout hello everytime someone walks in which gets annoying and our server kept reaching over us and our food while we're eating to refill our water with the pitcher on our table-felt bothersome and unnecessary. Also felt like we were being rushed out.

Really wonderful experience at this cozy Korean restaurant. The place is tiny, so reservations are essential, but it’s worth the hype. I lived in Korea for a year near Busan, so this place provided a sense of nostalgia for me.We had the scallop gimbap, soft shell crab, monkfish, duck bulgogi and dolsot albap. My favorites were certainly the gimbap and albap and least favorite probably the bulgogi. All that to say that everything was really delicious though! I would absolutely recommend dining here with a partner, friend, or a small group. Anything more than 4 would be challenging given the space.

Highly overpriced for the portion of the food.Dishes are looking good-sized on pictures, but there are actually about 3 to 5 inch- diameter dishes.I would make send if they reduce $10 per dish from the current price.Pork soup was tasty, and very authentic. Two other dishes I tried were more of fusion style Korean cuisine.I would never visit again.
