Egg roll contained some sort of pureed "vegetables", horrible, also very small in size. Chow mein was not really like any Chow mein I've ever had, tasted like beef and onions in soy sauce. Overall very disappointing. Would not order from them again.

If you're open until 10, why does the online ordering close so early? I would honestly order way more if I could...

Honestly for the price it doesn't get much better then that, the food tastes clean and very tasty, they're always super fast when delivering as well, definitely my go to take out spot

Quick service, free delivery, and the food is always good. What more could you ask for? Not much room for seating inside so I would recommend take out or delivery. But if you'd like to sit in they have a couple of tables to sit and eat. Definitely the best take out spot I've found on the upper east side.

This is a typical take out Chinese restaurant. It's nothing special but for last minute Chinese food it hits the spot. I've gotten the sweet and sour chicken as well as the shrimp and broccoli combo dinners.

Very reasonably priced and the best Chinese takeout I have had living in both NYC and LI. The fried rice was above average for Chinese takeout. Will be our new go-to.

This is my to go Chinese take out on the UES. I get the Singapore Mai fun lunch special with egg drop. I always ask no roast pork and they made sure to do it. I made same request at other restaurants and they will say yes and forgot. I've also had shrimp with broccoli, chicken with string bean, shrimp with lobster sauce, shrimp chow mein, and all of them were decent. It is not the best but also not the worst. The service is great.

Worst “chinese” food i have had in my life. Honestly. This is supposed to be pieces of chicken with sweet and sour sauce, and it is some burnt batter of who knows what. Frankly disgusting. Don’t waste your money here,

The most value you will get for your money in the UES. Very good chinese food for very cheap. Wait was like 6 min when I went at 2pm. Got the sesame chicken with white rice. Would recommend.

I had not been to Asian 83 in a long time so I stopped in for a late lunch early dinner and the food and service are wonderful. I had the Lemon Chicken Combination platter which was very reasonable for the amount of food that you get and the quality of the meal. I got a nice sized chicken breast perfectly cooked with a side of vegetable fried rice and an egg roll and Coke for about $10.00. The meal could have fed two people. The chicken was delicious and the sauce was kept separate so that you could put on as much or as little as you wanted. The fried rice had a very nice taste to it and was full of lots of ingredients. The egg roll was okay but not one of the better ones that I have had lately. Overall the meals that I have had here have been delicious and the family that runs that restaurant have been very nice when I have eaten in. There are a couple of small tables to eat here and its nice to just stop and relax for a quick lunch or dinner.

Absolutely terrible food and service. Undercooked and got my order wrong. When I walked back I got an attitude from the cashier. Stay away!

I ordered crab Rangoon and they gave me cheese wonton. Chicken in chicken lo main was rather questionable. Will not be going back
