This place is very nice but very small. There is one bathroom for everyone and the lights there are very dim. It looks larger on the pictures than reality. We enjoyed our avocado rolls and dumplings on the patio. It is a very limited menu for food and drinks. The positive is that it is very cute and they have a train caboose that you can also dine in on the street.
The host was passive aggressive and implied that we were 8 mins late (out of a 15 min grace period) even though we arrived on time and waited for him to seat a table of four. The waitress took around 20 mins to take our orders, so my table waited for a long time to order a drink. The same waitress then rushed us with the check and kept asking about it every 2-3 minutes.

From great communication with Emmy to my overall experience at Ayza, It was very pleasing. My party and I opted for the Sommelier experience with Wine, Cheese, and Chocolates. Our Sommelier’s name was Torey and I think his explanations and knowledge of the products were spot on. He was even able to recommend different kinds of pairings! The atmosphere here felt very nice and soothing. Compared to other tastings I am very glad that I had chosen Ayza!

The mulled wine is pretty good, although it is really ruined by the poor service (waiters hang out and ignore people, spilled red wine ALL over my friend and didn't comp her flight) and absolute lack of wine knowledge (e.g., I asked what the wine in a flight was and was told “Sonoma”... I asked the vineyard and was told California).

It was an amazing birthday celebration with the girls if could give 10 stars I would food, service, and atmosphere, everything was 100% I did a birthday package was super easy to communicate with Emmy the event manager was very good and super quick to reply emails my experience at this place was just wonderful.

My husband and I have been going to Ayza for over 10 years. We had a reservation last night to celebrate our anniversary. I reached a few minutes before my husband. I was seated but had to wait before my husband came before I could order a drink. A server did not come to our table until 16 minutes into our reservation. The food came out quick, drinks were a little slower, server barely made an appearance.
We wanted something that was us for our wedding meal after our elopement and this exceeded expectations. The service was amazing. The food fanastic would love to eat here again

I also did my birthday party here in their outdoor space (the unlimited brunch!) and everyone was absolutely wonderful to work with! My wife and I found ourselves in Midtown with some time on our hands as part of a family outing. A quick TripAdvisor search turned up Ayza’s menu. They had us at the Honeycomb Fig Burrata. It and the rest of the menu lived up to our expectations. I have some issues with my my mobility that can make some restaurants a bit challenging. We sat on the covered patio which was accessible. The staff was very accommodating. We had a great meal and experience and will definitely go again the next time we’re in New York.
