My 2nd time eating here and the food was so good. Everything was well done and cooked to perfection. Wait time was quick and fast. The staff was attentive and kind. The drinks were on point nice and strong and delicious. I can't wait to go back. The music was good too. We sat outside and it was as nice and warm as

My son and I went here for Sunday brunch and it a small cozy spot inside. We opted for outdoor seating since it was a beautiful sunny day. Also the music is less loud, which allows for conversation without yelling. So I'm going to what's important...the food. Everything was delicious so I'll rank from best dish down. We ordered the pumpkin French toast, yummy. The catfish nuggets were crispy, but not dry on the inside. The brunch Mac & cheese, was exactly that cheesy, mac cooked just right, only hit maybe a tab more salt. Chicken and pancakes, chicken was juicy and crispy. Pancakes were just alright. We also ordered Henny Sidecars... they were tasty as well.

Came here for a birthday celebration. Service was friendly and we were seated right away (had reservations). But the food here was mediocre and not memorable. I ordered the prix-fixe and got the salad, shrimp and grits, and Lloyd carrot cake. The highlight was the carrot cake. That was absolutely delicious. I've always heard about it being the best carrot cake in NY, now I'm a believer. I love shrimp and grits and was excited to try it but it wasn't anything to rave about. I ordered a red sangria initially and it tasted really strange, I had to swap it out for something else. Overall ok experience, just not particularly memorable.

The food was delicious. The vibe, the music, the food all great. The food could come out quicker. The portions could be bigger for the price. However, there is no denying how delicious it is. For example, I'm used to getting at least 3 pancakes or 3-4 French toast. You only get two. Our server was attentive but let us enjoy the meal. Would highly recommend.

One of my favorite brunch spots in the city. I ALWAYS get the chicken and pancakes.

Beware of this establishment. The waiter/ bartender must have thought I wasn't paying attention and tried to overcharge me significantly. Before I delve into the food critique, let me tell you how I knew he was trying to run game rather than making an honest mistake:When the bill came back, there were two alcoholic beverages listed that i didn't order.I made the bartender/ server aware of this and he gave me a new receipt. (This is where I would have accepted the honest mistake if more didnt happen)When I got the new bill, a 20% gratuity was included in the bill...which is honestly unheard-of.When i mentioned it, the guy said "oh i can remove that" and the bill was suddenly $16 less. In total, the guy tried to finesse me out of $37, which is not only unprofessional but...well lets just say i didnt have to be as nice about it as i was.The food was okay at best. 6/10The raw oysters were what you would expect and the baked oysters had so much spinach on top that I could barely taste the oysters. Not nearly enough bread crumbs either. I had baked oysters in Chinatown that were 10x better and much cheaper. The salmon, scrambled egg and broccoli main course was dried out overall. Except for the eggs. I have to commend them on the scrambled eggs, I was impressed. The fish was cooked so long that it lost the buttery texture characteristic of salmon. It was adequately seasoned but nothing spectacular. The broccoli was charred and dry. I wouldnt be surprised if it was originally frozen, because thats the impression I got from the taste.Im never coming back because of the insult to my intelligence that was attempted.

Avoid at all cost if you are going for brunch. We waited 2 hours to receive cold food and an additional 30 mins to get the check. It was definitely NOT worth it. The food is small for the price you’re paying.

The restaurant is small but the staff is nice and attentive. We did feel cramped, our food was accidentally given to another table. An honest mistake but we noticed the server doing this on several occasions with other guest. The drinks did not appeal me, tasted low quality. Now what attracted me to this restaurant was the menu. I assumed there was an elevated culinary experience I would embark on. I ordered shrimp and grits. The grits were grainy, shrimp overcooked and had a fishiness taste to them. The food quality does NOT reflect or justify the cost. We ordered 1 alcoholic drink, tea, and two entrees that totaled $109. We ended up having to get food elsewhere because we felt unsatisfied and were still hungry. I loved the DJ and the R&B selection, I would love to come back if these changes are made.

Hit or Miss -I had a reservation on 3/3/24... 2day... I've been at this restaurant 3x and the service was ok and the pumpkin French Toast was good. Today the food was horrible. My order was incomplete and the french toast was burnt to a crisp on one side and served to me in camouflaged fashion. When I bit into my food, it was gross.. I called the waiter over and let him see me flip the bread revealing the completely black crusted meal. He just took my plate and returned it to the kitchen- Not a word was said. My husband ordered the salmon. That tasted like the prepackage bagged farm raised fish. My thing is, when people go out to eat, respect the fact that they're hungry. Respect the fact that there are thousands of restaurants in NY but they chose Brunch Harlem. When it was time to close out the tab, the waitress asked how was everything... I shared my concerns. She gave me a 10% discount and stated that the best time to return is Wednesday or Thursday because the resturant is dealing with the outdoor dining, downstairs speak easy section and the main floor. I basically heard enough and wished her goodnight. It's safe to say, I wont be returning to Brunch Harlem especially since I would have to press my luck on food and service. So if you want to gamble on your experience go. If not enjoy a meal elsewhere.
