They charge tax on Lunch Specials. And they Overcharge the taxes, making it a flat Dollar amount. And they give a tiny, tiny side of Sweet& Sour for shrimp, chicken, or pork. Not even enough for the meal. When asked for an extra tiny sauce, they want to charge a $1. And ONLY give ONE EACH DUCK, SOY, MUSTARD no matter how Big the order. And when you ask for extra. They give you 2 more packages with Attitude. I won't go back again. Just continue to go to my other Chinese Restaurants for not Overcharging tax, especially on Lunch Specials & Great Customer Service ?

AWFUL food. I selected based on Grubhub listing but threw it all out. A waste of $60

The hot and sour soup not bad. Food comes out quick for lunch take out. Don't see any indoor dining set up yet. They have brown rice. Sauce is thinner than other Chinese places. Lunch specials are on menu. Location only offers Chinese food.Fortune cookies available.

General tso’s chicken tasted like school lunch (post Michelle Obama) boneless buffalo chicken wings. You can tell it’s just Buffalo sauce by its bright red color too. Terribly disappointing after opening the bag. I’ve never had general tso’s chicken this bad.

Just ordered lunch from this place on seamless and it was pretty good. I choose the Hot and Spicy Beef Lunch Special which came with an egg roll. The spice wasn't over bearing I thought it was seasoned nicely. I choose the pork friend rice which was made the way I like it. (Some places make it terrible, this place got it right.) The portion was perfect for lunch, I really like this place.

I HAVE GIVEN THIS RESTAURANT AT LEXINGTON AVENUE BAMBOO HOUSE MANY CHANCES HOPEFULLY TO GET IT RIGHT!! HOWEVER THE FOOD STILL IS TERRIBLE FRIED RICE ALL GUMMY & SALTY THE SHRIMP AND BROCOLLI WASN'T COOKED THOROUGHLY I AM DONE WITH THIS RESTAURANT. I BET THE FOOD THEY SERVE TO THE PUBLIC ISN'T PREPARED OR GOOD AS THE FOOD THAT THEY FEED THEMSELVES!!! # THIS FOOD STINKS AND IS TOO SALTY!!!

Worst chicken wings ever. Looked liked they were boiled and cooked in oil that’s been used for a long time. I tossed.

I will NEVER order from here again. It was the WORST chinese food I have ever tasted. Sooo bad that this is my first REVIEW EVER ... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. I took two bites of the chicken and broccoli and couldn't bring myself to finish my order despite how much i spent and how starved i felt before ordering. The white rice was mushy as well as the chicken.....the texture of the meat made me question LIFE and hunger.....and if i really needed to be eating at the moment....the sauce had a strange scent...just barffff

I ordered a General Tao's chicken from this restaurant and I could barely digest the food. The chicken taste tainted and dry which caused me to be nauseated and ultimately vomit. For my first time eating here this will be my last.

We really had a hankerin' for Chinese food tonight. It's been so long, staying in and cooking every night, so we decided to give this local place under new management a try. Had walked by last night and took a look-see. Place was empty, just staff sitting around, absorbed in their cellphones, waiting for call-ins for deliveries and pick-ups; that's all they ever do anyway, even before Covid. But the couple of people working were wearing masks, even though they wern't doing anything, no customers. So that looked promising. Took another gander through the window tonight. Same sitch, so we went in and got a menu to take home. Made our choice and called it in. Moseyed over to pick up just in time to see the lady at the register counter pull her mask down to pinch her nostrils, sniff, and wipe. Mask back on. Delivery guy also had mask off, wearing it as a chin-guard, scratching his face. We didn't even go in. When we got home, I thought I should call to cancel the order and tell her why. She squawked "But food is ready!" I told her what I saw and that's why we were cancelling and would never return. A deadly pandemic must be taken more serously than THAT. She shrieked "**** you!" and hung up, yet proceeded to call a few more times. Didn't answer. What for? And why would you ever order food from them?

Bad quality. Not delicious food. Order through Seamless it was a good review, but my order was just super bad. No chopsticks, souse is a strange red liquid without any taste. Instead of sweet and sour pork I had a strange pieces of fried dough.

I've ordered here a few times, takeout and delivery (which was free). Always incredible. The dishes are so fresh and it honestly feels like a unique take on the old classics. I tend to feel that they are picking choice ingredients and using the freshest stuff possible - and it shows in the quality.
