We were a little disappointed in the place. Our experience did not match the reviews. The food was ok, but not special and did not meet my criteria for price. If you are going to charge 20 dollars for breakfast it should be really good not just ok. Service was poor and we never were asked for a second cup of coffee.

A decent brunch, you can eat it if you pass by but you don’t have to come here~

I came here for brunch last Saturday and despite it being busy and not having a reservation (for a party of 2), we were welcomed and given a table fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and patient. The food was delicious and the matcha latte was very good. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the French toast. I look forward to visiting again during another visit to NYC.

One of my favorite Greenwich Village Brunch Spots! It’s cute, cozy and delicious food at a reasonable price! It's typically packed, so ensure your group arrives together or you might not find a seat unless everyone arrives! They have outdoor and indoor seating perfect for spring and summer! As far as I recall they don’t take reservations so you have to walk in!

We sat outside in their extension and it was cool. The smoked salmon with garlic feta toast & poached egg was delicious. My friend really enjoyed her fried chicken sandwich as well.

I had fantastic coffee, but the toast came with white bread that had no flavor and poor texture. For this price, I expected a decent slice of bread.

I heavily recommend the banter big breakfast. Eggs, bacon, avocado, mushrooms, halloumi cheese, sourdough with tomato jam. For around 20 bucks. Cannot beat it!Dietary restrictions: Dairy free and nut allergies

Food was delicious. Relaxed vibes and great quality ingredients make simple but a delicious breakfast. I had been trying to visit Banter for a while but luckily I was able to walk in and finally get a table.

Did not get my full order when ordering through UberEats - got scammed. Very disappointed as this was my favorite brunch place.

I think it is a place that can be forgotten. The menu is mainly for brunch but there is nothing particularly different or unique. I ordered the option that had the most variety and the most redeeming thing was the hallumi cheese that I hadn't eaten in a while and I missed.
