Bao Tea House was so cute and I really liked their drinks and baos! I thought the chicken bao had a flavorful filling and a nice, flaky exterior. I did not like the veggie bao filling as much, but the bread was still good. The interior of the restaurant was unique and cute. They have downstairs bar seating and a cute upstairs area with unique seating. All the staff I talked to were very nice and helpful. They also had punch cards and a promotion for a free drink if you spend $15. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area and am looking for a light snack and drink.

Absolutely loved everything about this cafe, the food (savory pork belly bao, friend beef bao), the service (friendly and very gracious server), ambiance (cute bar with plenty of room, bright light, warm feeling, cute upper room with seating area). Had a wonderful conversation with the server; he had the sweetest personality, the best to chat with for travelers like myself and my daughter. He was charming and funny, which makes it all the more welcoming for visiting this cafe for the first time.

It's okay, small portions, and maybe you'll have 1 favorite, but the vibes are awesome because it's chill. Go on a weekday, trust me!

Personally prefer Savory Baos over the sweet ones. Also order their milk tea, (exceeded my expectation :>) it is really good!Portions are on the smaller side, prices are on the expensive side compare to nearby bakeries.

This reminded me of a more delicate version of a pineapple bun. I appreciate the unique flavors while still achieving that light and crunchy exterior. I would get this again, and hoping the other flavors are as yummy as the one I tried. The lava (black bun) was delicious - with a soft and salty cream inside - would repurchase it. The taro ube (purple bun) tasted very light in ube flavor, but still tasty, and finally (the yellow bun) was good; it had a custardy interior. The rice bao was just okay - would skip the chicken curry. It wasn't for me. The interior of the shop was very pretty and had a zen vibe. I would like to dine in next time.

I asked the staff if I could use the restroom and they said yes if I bought something. After I bought something they said the restroom was closed down today. Very predatory practice.

I love the dessert bao here, specifically the egg yolk bao. The buns don't taste traditional, but have a crunchy layer on top - similar to the topping of pineapple buns.I love getting a little bao and perching at the sitting area on top.

Pork belly bao, two for $7.95. Good taste, wasn’t super fatty. Ordered a hot matcha latte too. Food and drinks brought to you if you’re sitting upstairs.

Cute spot to hang out. I wish the tables weren't to the side of the person though. Service is a moderate pace. The bao's were tasty. Would go hang out again and recommend to friends.
