Had dinner during busy conference week with work colleagues - restaurant was packed for a Tuesday night! Food was excellent - the apps were delicious and everyone loved their meals. Only issues were the atmosphere (VERY loud due to building acoustics) and the service was slow due to the number of tables. Overall a good experience, particularly if they are less busy.

What a lovely restaurant! The food was delicious. The service was excellent, the staff very friendly. They go out of the way to make sure you enjoy your evening. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go back.

Delicious-loved everything we ordered; lovely wine list; nice atmosphere; attentive, but not pushy staff; spotless bathroom-I believe a restaurant’s bathroom cleanliness is an indication of the kitchen’s cleanliness.

As an authentic Italian in New York, doing my tour and ratings of Italian Cuisine in Manhattan, I can easily say this is the best quality of food and service I have experienced. Starting with the gentleman who served us, who spoke Italian and made me feel at home again, recommended the " Pappardelle con Pollo e Verdure", which was 10/10. The ambiance itself was cozy and romantic....my wife had a wonderful time. Their wine list had an award-winning range, which could be intimidating, but the server walked us through and helped us select the perfect choice to pair with our meals. Truly a professional environment, and great experience.

Felt like we were back in Italy. Charming setting. Excellent service from an Italian waiter. No problem with substituting a butter/sage sauce for tomato on my spinach ravioli. All delicious, topped off with creamy tiramisu. Wonderful evening.

Good ingredients. The server was Italian and funny. The pastas were perfectly al dente.

Service was terrible. The waiter was not helpful and was not friendly. Food arrived cold in the middle and hot on the sides. The wine recommended by the glas was undrinkable. Terrible experience

Everything was first-class. Fantastic wine list, everything we ordered tasted fantastic. Probably wouldn't get the carpaccio again bc it sticks to the plate and is hard to serve, but it was delicious. We got fettuccine ragu and penne w/zucchini and both loved it. The service was great, atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect spot for a nice relaxing dinner after an extremely busy day.

The store closing time is posted as 11pm. I went there at 10:25 and they denied the service as the restaurant closes at 11. Completely understand. Next day i went there at 10pm, thats the best i could do because of my work. They again denied the service stating that the restaurant closes at 11.I mean am i wrong in comprehending that restaurants are suppose to serve till their closing time? I mean last order half an hour before is understood but closing completely one hour before is something i am unable to gulp.

We were in an Italian mood, wanted to stay local to our hotel (Benjamin Royal Sonesta), and hit the bullseye with this place. We are bar-sitters, but the table areas looked classy also. But, we chose the first seats at the bar, and had a fantastic experience. The bread, the salad, the Gorgonzola pasta, and the Bolognese pasta were all fantastic. Senka was our bartender, and Benny was the manager I kept bothering about how great a place he had. NYC has plenty of options, and I am no expert on all of Midtown. What I CAN say very confidently is that if you are walking, riding in a rideshare, staying ANYWHERE close to this place, and it is dinnertime and you are hungry, you need to stop by. No letdown will occur. Lots of pics below. Definitely recommend and see you there (next time wife and I are in NYC).
