Best bar service, wonderful hosts, great draft craft beer, perfect drinks, a surprising and unexpected fun playlist, and a warm and cozy environment, in the UWS, NYC! Thanks Kirstin, Ben, Mike and Toby.

My sister in law who has been a long time devotee of the 1020 dart board officially declared the shuffle board here was “better”

Count your cash back when you pay with cash. Got nixed $40 by not counting and PISSED. When I called they said too bad. Used to go often, but not anymore. Time to find a new neighborhood spot

Bob's is the most balanced bar in NY : his cheap beers come with a very serious service. Games are available for free, and the place is spacy enough for you to bring all your friends to get wasted or more. Trustable owner who kept my ID for several days before I realized I lost it while laying l the floor. Thanks Bob's!

So I have to say I was soooo disappointed this evening. I have my mom at the nursing home on 106th street because she had a stroke two years ago. So I always come here to have a couple of drinks after spending several hours with her to decompress before going home. I love it here because it's always a nice vibe, and it seems like it's a lot of locals. I walked in today and bartender stared me down as soon as I walked in. The people next to him were looking at I'm like what's up! He looked clearly wasted. I sat there for at least 10 minutes and he never acknowledged me. He was talking to other customers, serving other people. It felt so humiliating. It wasn't even busy like it usually is when I get there. So I put my jacket back on to clearly to show that I was leaving. He could care less. He kept talking to the other customers and completely ignoring me. It made me feel so bad. Then I thought maybe it was because I'm Latina. Anyway, whatever the reason was, I didn't care, I got up and left very embarrassed and teary eyed, because this is where I come to decompress about my mom and this is how I was treated. All the other bartenders have been sooo sweet. Now if he's there on Sundays I don't think I'll be back. Sucks! What a jerk!!!

Great dive bar for a weekday drink. Good happy hour. You can bring your own food which is a plus.

I remember this spot from when it was called the Ding Dong Lounge. Recently visited the old neighborhood with my son, and the bar tender very kindly let us in as he was opening to look around. The place has retained many of the DDL's features and based on the comments it sound like it is still a great place for locals to gather.
