Really great sourdough baguette, I'm still thinking about it! I got the tahini spread and it went well with the baguette. My friend got the Mediterranean quiche which was vegetarian and had zucchini, feta, tomato, and onions. She loved it! They are very sweet even though we can in and out 30 mins before closing and they didn't have many other customers. It's a warm homely space and smells delicious!

Breads has great breads and pastries (as the name suggests...) in the back they have some refrigerated food options, everything is a little pricey, but it is definitely worth it for the baked goods. They have a variety of cafe beverage items, but nothing special if you're the kind of person looking for flavors. What they do have is good quality.Vegetarian options: Mostly all of the baked goods are vegetarian from my understanding, there are some non-vegetarian items in the fridge section in the back though.Dietary restrictions: I don't think you'll find anything gluten free, vegan, etc. just vegetarian. They have milk alternatives for cafe beverages though.Kid-friendliness: You could bring kids here.Wheelchair accessibility: There aren't any stairs to my knowledge, and it's not super tight inside so I feel someone in a wheelchair could probably maneuver inside.

I have no idea what their other items taste like (though I'm sure they're exceptional), because every time I come here I get their chocolate babka. It's the best babka I've ever had, hands down. They use a mixture of nutella and chocolate chips, which makes it oh-so-decadent, while still not being overly sweet. Warm it up in the oven for an experience that will leave you in ecstasy. It's a great gift too for someone outside of NYC as it travels well. One of my friends I recently gifted a Breads babka to remarked "I wish I saved more for myself" after he shared some with his family before trying it himself. Greatness must be recognized and celebrated. Well done Breads Bakery, well done.

Love their chocolate croissant! I can see why they won an award for their croissant. I have to go back for their original and almond croissant as well. I'm also a fan of Bread's 10% off if you BYOC for coffee :-) A big bonus for their staff because they're always so friendly and energetic regardless of how busy or early it is!!

Was on the hunt for famous chocolate babka in the city and Breads Bakery had popped up multiple times in my research. We were able to find a location near where we were shopping and stopped by to take a look. Unfortunately the babka was not offered sliced or in individual portions, so I couldn't buy a whole loaf and finish it myself (I guess I probably could eat it all myself, but I had too many food spots to hit on this trip). They had so many beautiful types of pastries and breads displayed that it was hard to choose what to try. We ended up ordering their chocolate rugelach, which also was one of their famous items, and their fig hamantaschen which also looked really good. I also bought some of their house made granola which was easy to transport home. The chocolate rugelach was basically a small croissant and it was phenomenal. It had the perfect amount of chocolate and the buttery, flaky dough was to die for. I could easily eat a ton of them in one sitting. The fig hamantaschen was also really good and unique. The fig was a little more on the bitter side, but still tasty. Overall a great experience and am now currently seeing if they deliver nationwide for their babka because we weren't able to stop by our last day to pick one up.

Having heard so much about Breads bakery I wanted to try it. I was around the Bryant park location. Had 2 potato borekas they were outstanding. Had to try the famous babka which they sell by the slice as well as a whole cake. I was pretty impressed with the babka as well. Would highly recommend any of their locations . I look forward to going back and trying something new.

Excellent spinach feta bureka and latte. Nice and relaxed seating. They also have lovely salads in addition to the endless delicious looking breads and pastries. The cheesecake looks divine and I will be taking a slice home. The staff is very friendly and attentive. This is my first time here and I will be back for sure!
