One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Service was great, food was spectacular. Get the arancini, bread service, quaglia, malfatti, and off menu cacio e pepe. Chocolate cake for dessert was also fantastic!

This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Manhattan. The service is always warm and professional, and the food does not disappoint, though it's sometimes surprising, like the sauceless pork ragu which isn't really clear on the menu. My current go-to is the pasta pomodoro, which seems like too simple a dish to order in a restaurant but the way they make it is incredible. I was told it has calabrian chili oil in it which deepens the flavor profile and the tomatoes are bright to balance. When I've had that I have never been disappointed with my meal. It's also just a super pleasant and beautiful space to spend time in, typically not too loud. And getting a reservation is typically doable. Keep up the good work!

Lemon cream sauce pasta is a stand out, fennel salad is delicious - also love the pomodoro. Serving appear small at first but are more than enough once you start eating. Staff is quick and helpful.

Really tasty food and very friendly staff. Sat at the bar seemed to be a lot of repeat customers around. A very comfortable but still cute chic place.

Highlights were the infamous cacio e peppe and fennel salad. Those two dishes truly exceeded the hype. The service was notably, thoughtful, even at lunch.

Altro Paradiso has perhaps the best service I've ever had at any restaurant, but the food could use a little help. This beautiful spot across from the Soho Trader Joe's feels like an elevated American restaurant. It's modern and sleek throughout without being cold, and the bar, with floor or ceiling back-lit bottles, looks like the perfect spot to grab a low-key drink with a friend. I came for dinner, and the service was impeccable. My water glass was constantly refilled mere moments after I finished it, and our waiter was so incredibly prompt, helpful, and courteous from start to finish. But the kitchen just isn't matching what the front of house is delivering. The mozzarella and kiwi starter was the highlight of the meal -- super interesting and different. But my lemon pasta (the strozzapreti al limone) was bland, and the mango and olive oil sorbet (the waiter's recommendation) was also nothing special. Bonus points for having gluten free pasta, but I probably could have made a better pasta at home, for a lot less than $32.Overall, Altro Paradiso had a comfortable, elevated atmosphere for a weeknight meal, and I'd probably come back if I lived in the neighborhood. But there are too many restaurants in Manhattan with better pasta and more creative dishes for me to personally return.

Such a good time here tonight. Thanks Tim and Eric and Damien. Great drinks and the food is from heaven, the Italia one, The Malfatti is like you wish your Nonna had made. That “pork chop“ is enough for four people and you can taste the heritage. But the wine, the Alpine red, Blaufrankisch from Abraham. Just speechless.

$85 pork chop ? $58 for 1/2 roasted chicken ? No thanks ! (Excellent bartenders and liquor selection.)

Ok- first, i am Italian l. The cacio pepe was ok, very buttery with little cacio. The bread was really good and the atmosphere was great. For an Italian, it was an ok experience.

Arrived early for a 12 o’clock reservation on a Saturday and they were able to accommodate adding an additional 2 people. Service was quick and the staff were very kind. Was a little warmer than we needed. Arancini were very good and great to share. Spaghetti pomodoro was more flavorful than a simple red sauce. Cacio a Pepe was absolutely the best dish. Didn’t love the mela spritz and was a little disappointing that they couldn’t make a Bellini but the mimosas were delightful. Would recommend coming with a group of friends, was a lovely time!
