It is not worth the hype . That being said it's a decent place . Had the mezcal coconut drink and it was great . The goat cheese balls were tiny but mighty . The crudo and steak tartare were okay . The steak frites was perfectly cooked but nothing outstanding . The chocolate mouse was decadent but again not breathtaking . The overly hyped ravioli sheet was a let down . Wonder if all those ig ppl just get paid Lolol . All and all an okay place .

I had the steak and eggs. It was delish. Their fries were really tasty too. I love the look of the restaurant. It reminded me so much of Paris. The service was like any typical NYC restaurant. I recommend visiting here!

Food 4/10The salad was quite good, but the three pieces of tuna do not warrant a supplement of $9 that was actually crazy to see the meager amount of protein they put on my bowl. Very much a place where you go not for the food but for the aesthetics. Extremely mediocre as a result of this stinginess I’m very disappointed.Atmosphere 6/10Very embroidered and decorative classic interior, old Americana aesthetic. Tables are way too close to each other, I could barely squeeze out of my spot.Service 7/10Dccent service, nothing outstanding though.

We have been wanting to try this place forever and honestly, I wouldn't waste your time or money here. Despite having a great vibe/ambiance, and I'm sure the drinks are tasty (we just didn't get), this establishment was overpriced and the food was subpar, not to mention the service of our meal was so delayed. The viral ravioli was beyond buttery and the burger was truthfully nothing to write home about. It's for sure a social media trap at it's' finest. Save your coins, or just come here for a drink!

Overall, we had a positive experience here. It was definitely cool to see the beautifully restored historic space. Service was good with the exception that we didn't receive the complimentary bread basket, which was a bummer since I'd read that it was good. We shared a few dishes, everything was solid. The Maitake au poivre is a creative take on the traditional steak version. The sauce was really good, specially with the fries. The chocolate souffle did deliver! ..more so than the ravioli, which was good but not wow. Glad to have given this place a try!

Finally made it here! Beautiful historic building with classic neoclassical vibes. It was a tad bit noisy though given how popular this place has become. French toast was delicious and substantial. The merguez sausage tasted authentic as they didn’t hold off the spice. Staff was attentive making sure our glasses were constantly filled with water. Overall, good but it was hard to hear my friends over the noise.

This place is chic!Love that they cater to my little one when we do go. Each time has been without a reservation, and they've been able to accommodate each time.Whipping up a delicious Shirley Temple for my girl while her dad enjoys his grown-up drink.Fries for everyone to share!

Overpriced but pretty ambiance. For context…brunch time on a weekend…busy but got a walk in table. Tiny green juice ($12), Half portion of eggs Benedict (had to pay $2 extra for ham, which is standard for the dish, no sides): ($18), side of fries: $12 (total $42!). Overall Taste: Decent but nothing fancy. Prob wouldn’t return.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options for extra $

I got here early bc there were no reservations for my party size. Thankfully, they were able accommodate us! So kind of them as the place was getting very packed for dinner service. Absolutely loved everything we ordered there! No complaints and I can’t find fault with anything. Loved their vesper drink, croquettes, panisse, ravioli, mushroom maitake with pepper sauce, burger and chocolate soufflé. The panisse texture was amazing with ground chickpea that was like fried hummus bites, the croquettes were stuffed with goat cheese and drizzled with honey, the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The burger sauce was amazing and just rich enough with flavor (we had that on the side). The chocolate soufflé was spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg that was beautifully executed. Highly recommend! The space is gorgeous as well. Gets very busy so suggest making a res a couple weeks ahead of time.

The place was very nice and the staff's attention was good, but I think that since they have so many orders and so many people to serve, the food is not of the best quality and we only ordered two things at the bar and with that we had enough, because when we went to our table we didn't want to order more food thinking about price vs quality

WE had a reservation but it was noisy in the front room. My nicoise salad was delicious. My friend had eggs that looked good. Both at brunch. Brunch menu I live in the neighborhood. Can't wait to

Visited Chelsea Cafe to see what the hype was all about, and it didn’t disappoint! Though the place was crowded and our reservation was delayed by 30 minutes, it was worth the wait. The ambiance is genuinely French and inviting, contributing to a unique dining experience. The food was fantastic – every bite was a delight, and the service was impeccable. Besides the wait, there’s absolutely nothing to complain about.
