Exceptional food and service was terrific. We were incredibly fortunate with a group of four to walk in however I’d recommendyou have a reservation because it was busy. Food was some of the best Chinese I have ever had. I highly recommend and the staff were wonderful and quickly took care of us.

MY ORDER: FRIED RICE WITH DUCKORDER: CURIOUSLY TASTY CHICKEN (MADE IT SPICY)ORDER: SHRIMP SHUMAIDRINK: GINGER ALE PLUS A PITCHER OF COMPLIMENTARY WATER.Majority of my day was spent walking around Manhattan. From the lower east side to upper west side. Downtown to uptown; stopping by a seminar and then getting invited to a protest. I was trying to get my “steps in” before heading north to make the final preparations for the Easter extravaganza with my lil one. As I was walking and sight seeing the city of tourist traps; I began to wonder what is FOR dinner?… At first I was literally craving anything with Fried Chicken. But I wanted that extra crisp exterior to it. So I started seeking my resources. Because very indecisive, then I was thinking about falafels (thanks to my very beau lady friend). Again I went to my resources, became very indecisive. So I ended up choosing Chinese cuisine (Café China)Now this fine tight space establishment doesn’t offer any physical menu. You have to scan a QR code to search for the menu. At first glance I did start getting a bit aggravated because I wasn’t seeking anything alcoholic (I am SOBER) nor an 8 dollar sparkling water nonsense. I couldn’t find alternatives beverages till I asked the waiter. He is very professional AND friendly(strong work ethic). The meal itself to ME was satisfying. After walking around for 30 mins trying to decide WHICH CHINESE RESTAURANT. Each bite of my “Curious George Chicken” I mean “Curiously Tasty Chicken” tasted very tender and seasoned to the core! Each piece didn’t fail to dissatisfy my hunger! From the sauce combine with the chicken pieces, I recommend this dish. Now for the important dish…the Fried Rice with duck…… now it is known that I absolutely put rice as my TOP 3 favorite dish… it is indeed important for me to make sure I tell y’all whether it is cooked to perfection from the hands of the gods. I must say…. It is! The rice tasted perfect, fluffy ! AmazingMy shrimp shumai….IS THE APPETIZER. Overall…The meal alone is definitely meant for two with the portion i literally received. The pricing is ok-ishMy seating was cozy and comfortable. The environment wasn’t too loud so I was able to watch a couple videos as I ate my meal. The restaurant itself looks good.Maintained and organized. Staff is professional for sure. I definitely recommend bringing a date…or a group of friendsPlease support the locals!Vegetarian options: I didn’t see much but sure they can accommodate!

Came to this place for a company dinner - there is a lot of seating and the service is really good. We ordered 10+ entrees, and I think every single one of them was great. The appetizers, drinks, and dessert did not miss either. The only downside is that the food is on the pricier end, but it makes sense given that it is a very nice sit down place. Overall, I would rate this place a solid 8/10 - the food is amazing but just on the pricer end.

The pork belly was a little dry, and the Lucky Cup was quite strong. Overall OK, could be better.

I found this place on the travel channel. If you’re into authentic Chinese food - definitely give this place a try. Their portions are decent. You can eat family style depending on how you order. My favorite were the pan fried pork buns and the pork dumplings. The rest of the group had the mouth watering chicken, cold appetizer - if you like cold chicken, go for it. (Otherwise you may not like it.) They also got the braised pork - had a lot of textures in it but the flavor was there. The Ma Po tofu was deliciously made and serving size was a good portion. We also ordered the shrimp fried rice - pretty good, fresh, not salty! ? Overall, the service was friendly and if we needed something after the food was served we had to flag down our waiter. Last but not least , we ordered the lucky cup sake, also good! ?

Dear food lovers, don’t believe the Instagram videos and ratings, it’s all a bunch of ignorant people who have no idea how good food should taste. It’s all about advertising. This is my experience with this restaurant, and it’s horrible. I just put $42 in the garbage.Scallion pancakes should be called crispy dough because there’s absolutely no scallions in these pancakes apart from few traces. See the photos. Absolutely scam.Secondly the Mushrooms with spinach are not eatable because of the horrific amount of sodium. Salty as hell! They were damped in the trash.Lastly, the desert which is “Japanese pumpkin cake” is ok. Really nothing to talk about. This place has horrid food and expensive for nothing! I don’t recommend it.

Service is great while the food is not very impressive. Hard to believe it’s a Michelin-starred restaurant. They do have professional bartender who makes wonderful cocktails for us.

Service was great, waiters picked up quickly and manager as well seemed nice and helped waiters. Food was absolutely terrible. The cured Daikon was extremely salty, that it was inedible and was burning in my mouth. Hot and sour wonton soup also too salty, wonton dough was too thin it ripped apart. Kung Pao chicken was good, however maybe leave out the peppercorns flavor is too strong and ruins the flavor in your mouth. Mung bean noodles, great flavor, was too hard to eat with chopsticks, however was the best dish we had, ( it was an appetizer). Really disappointed.
