Unfortunately the quality of this place continues to nose dive. As others have mentioned, the portion ratios of rice to meat is off, and good luck trying to communicate with the staff. There are so many other nearby Caribbean restaurant options with better quality food and comparable (if not better) pricing.

Number one Jamaican spot in Manhattan! My favorite is breakfast... Callaloo and saltfish and porridge. Lunch: either oxtail and rice and peas; curry goat and white rice; fried chicken. Their soups are so good as well. And love their rum punch!!

Service is poor. Food didn’t taste so great. The server, she poured all this sauce on the food and it was too much. She was like rude for the most part. I was disappointed.

Poor customer service , too much ketchup in the oxtails , and I asked for chicken soup and got pig feet , and the woman cater to only men who order, and too much gravy on the rice. They don’t respect ppl

I recently ordered the chicken curry roti and it was too spicy for my taste. I normally order the curry chicken meal and it's never spicy. I am not sure if they have a new chef or they just changed the recipe.
If you want Jamaican style food and not actual Jamaican food, look no further. They've got you covered! If you want ackee and salt fish minus the actual natural salt from the fish, this is it! Their stew peas w pig tails but no actual flavors of typical Jamaican spices and the actual pigtail... whew this is the place to be !!! It's such a stark contrast in taste from their location in the Bronx. There's also a stark contrast in customer service but that's a convo for another day

The service is horrible.. you paying $30 for a red snapper and they want to give a little bit of food, not only that they are very rude and nasty to the customers. No one should support this establishment. What make it worst it’s a black owned.

I visited this place recently after my cousin said it’s pretty decent. I order a medium of oxtail with rice and peas and a side of wings. $27. I sat down in their dining area and as I was eating I notice a long strand of curly black hair. The wings was also cold. I let the girl know at the register & automatically she said it was mine. I told her it was not as my hair was straight and recently colored. She bickered with the staff in the back & came back and said well what you want to do about it? She wasn’t apologetic & very rude. I didn’t even want my money back. I was just trying to let them know that there’s hair in their food and she should have some type of compassion and better customer service. I will not be returning to this place. Some work is needed on seasoning the food, customer service and hair not being in their food.

The food is consistently good here. It's become my go-to Carribean place in Harlem. The food is always fresh and the portion sizes are good. Friendly staff and quick to service the lines. Great addition to the neighborhood. Keep it up!
