The waitress took my plate and dropped a fork and 2 whole peices of Broccoli in my hair, and didn't really apologize. It smelled like garlic the rest of the night. Also the spaghetti had an aftertaste of throwup and the chicken was mushy. Pasta was overcooked. My friend says its the worst cheesecake she has ever tried. The tirimisu was okay, but in the end made me queasy. This place had so much potential, but comes short for my expectations. Don't recommend for anyone visiting New York. Can't believe people make reservations a year in advance for this place.

If you can make reservations if not you'll have a long wait. The food was very good and the portions were big enough for two to three people. If you can ask to be seated at " Marc B" section. He was our server and he was excellent! Overall a great dining experience.
Family style portions are generous! The food here was wonderful, gluten free options are available including pasta (cooked in separate water from regular pasta which isn’t the case at all restaurants around NYC, diner beware). The food was more than we could finish so be prepared for leftovers. We had a show to get to in an hour and mentioned it to the staff, they had our food out quickly and we enjoyed the high quality meal with time to spare. I’ll be returning here on my next trip to NYC!

The food is just alright. There were two of us, and we only ordered one entree to share because the portions are so enormous. The server kept trying to get us to order more, which I understand increases sales and tips, but we didn't want to waste food. We also weren't offered a bread basket until we asked about it when we ordered, but they still never brought it to us. I don't see how you can comfortably eat here with a party of less than four, and even then you better all like the same thing. It wasn't horrible, but it also wasn't good enough to justify $40 for a single dish of lasagna.
