After reading some of the reviews, I did have high expectations here. The food was ok, the servers did not seem very attentive. Ask for coffee refill four times with two different servers. Coffee is good, though the price has increased from recently fro$3.95 to $4.95. It says it a bottomless cup, but getting more was a challenge.

American pancakes are a must, absolutely one of the most important dishes to try that I wanted to include. I ate the most delicious dishes here. Blueberry was tempting with the photo on the menu, but it totally blew you away in person. Served additionally with fruit and maple syrup - real gold in a huge portion ? Eggs with salad and avocado toast served really beautifully and tasty. Nice promotion for Mimosa, but it's only worth it if you drink 4 or more of these drinks, the taste itself wasn't the best, so we're glad we didn't try more.The service was okay, although the waiting time was a bit long to approach the table and show interest. Generally, a very nice place with a large selection of dishes.

Perfect family friendly atmosphere !!! Our family loved it!They have a great menu perfect for anyone with any dietary needs. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. Plus, it's surprisingly affordable for NYC. We will definitely come back on our next visit to the city.

Really typical American diner!! Huge portion, fair prices. Food is really good and staff was kind. They don’t ask for tips in the bill, as tourist that don’t have tips culture in my country, I really appreciated that.

Great historical diner to visit- big menu- breakfast was great. Fresh fruit & French toast
Tried 3 or 4 times to go and have brunch and finally the waiting line was short (about 10min). This place is great. It's most of the time full. Had an amazing waffle with fruits, a delicious capuccino, and eggs benedict. Seats are very next to each other but it's OK. Menu is very extensive and prices are very reasonable for the area. Reservation is recommended!

Love the new location of Carnegie Diner!The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is attentive. I like going in for a quick bite and the Cafe delivers on classic comfort food.Two of my favorites are the cheeseburger and the Pastrami Sandwich. If you're a fan of deli-style sandwiches, their pastrami sandwich is a must-try.Picture tender, thinly sliced pastrami piled high on rye bread. It's a New York staple, and Carnegie Diner does it justice.
