This is a great rooftop in midtown. You're above the hustle and bustle of the street in a beautiful, sophisticated rooftop space. It's not a nightclub - just a great comfortable spot to enjoy some great drinks, food and friendly service. There's a fireplace inside with some sofa seating but we sat outside on the deck for drinks and dinner. The menu is mostly tapas-style, but there are a couple of heartier dishes too. Our server was friendly -prices were normal for a rooftop bar- was a positive experience and I will go back! Thanks,
They do not have enough staff. Wait time for drinks and food was ridiculously long. People had to leave before the apps even arrived. Also the added gratuity fee does't allow you to tip accordingly. Will not go back there again.

Love this place everyone who works here is super friendly and there’s a real camaraderie amongst them which I appreciate. The food was delicious. I’m a huge fan of breads & cheeses… the house made ricotta was out of this world best ricotta I ever had and the naan bread was perfect! I had a regular espresso martini they have their own espresso martini w brandy but I kept it simple (not big on brandy) Dylan is an amazing bartender! Thanks to all of you at Castell rooftop! I will be back again!

Really enjoyed our visit to Castell Rooftop - beautiful restaurant with good drinks and mostly good food. We loved the sliders, ricotta dip, and crispy potatoes. Would skip the wings next time. The drinks were great too - their vesper was top notice. Service was a little slow and despite having a reservation, we had to wait about 20-minutes for our table. Would recommend - just not when in a rush.

Doesn’t deserve one star. We were the first ones in the place when it opened at 4. We’re told bar wasn’t ready- have a seat on the couch. Bar opens, walk to get a drink at the bar then host states there’s a private party in the couch section. Take our drinks to where there is a view (rooftop bar you’d think everyone would want this, not all shades down and covered the way it was?!!) then host says we can’t sit there we can sit down further. Move a second time. Then as we’re finishing up our first drink a waitress comes over and says we need to move for our next drink. Absolutely ridiculous place. Save yourself the disappointment… we’re taking our business elsewhere.

Great rooftop lounge with fantastic drinks and small bites. Happy hour is enjoyable (gets a little crowded); stay beyond and enjoy the beautiful open terrace that afforded the view Midtown skyline. Love the toasted mixed nuts, roasted veg dips, and empanada! Always a good spot to land on crisp evenings.

How beautiful a city is at night! Magnificent rooftop with a magical view of the Empire State, we had a cheese and charcuterie board which was delicious. Yes it's a bit expensive but it's a very nice place
I was charged $40 for a Macallan 12 yr drink. I know it's a hotel bar, but the drink is normally $18-25 (tops) at a typical lounge. Rip off!

Used to come here a lot before covid still nice but needs a little refresh. The rug for example near the fire place is very beat up and needs to be replaced. It almost tripped a blind couple when they were leaving. Drinks were ok bit should push HH until 7pm. Cheers

This place is literally the bomb diggity. The vibes are immaculate, staff is the best ever and it’s so nice having heaters during the cold weather. Looking forward to summer’s festivities here!!Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator, easy access to the rooftop. Comfortable seating available.
