Haphazardly wandering around Harlem, on the evening of arrival in NY, we happen upon Mama's and decide to try it seeing the natives order the most disparate things: some leave with buckets of bulk ice cream, some with pizza, some with chicken. ..at that point we also chose burgers and surroundings. They do not mark the order and therefore tend to get confused, but a sandwich that is not even present on the menu has just arrived. It looked like a Mexican thing, good, but distant from the chicken and cheese asked for ^^ very strange. I mark the "f.f." as super good. as they call them there, the chips. But also the tenders (fried chicken breasts) which are delicious. The decoration and the cleanliness, coupled with the menus everywhere and the neon lights, make the place very pleasant.And then the context ... makes its own, with quell'arietta reminiscent of Amsterdam (and not for the canals).It costs just under $10 with fries and a drink of your choiceGood Harlem everyone and if I was helpful..

I had their pizza it's ok of course I had better pizza but if you're hungry I wouldn't pass on it. For me it was a little too toasty and scrape my mouth but that wasn't what bother me so much, it was that the sauce was definitely lacking it seemed too little that the pizza when it got toasty it dried up the sauce. Other than that the service was good nice employees and the place was clean. For a hungry person it's a good quick grab so far.

This place never disappoints, love everything about the spicy chicken sandwich all the way to the apple coleslaw and juicy sour pickles. The curly fries with the works is bomb, not a big fan of the bacon, maybe if it were crispier... I tried the classic chicken sandwich, not as good as the spicy, seems as if they already have that made and ready to go vs. the spicy, seems to be made to order. Way more juicer and flavorful

HOW HAVE I NEVER BEEN HERE BEFORE!!!So I used to work up in SF pre pandemic and I had heard of the bird but have never tried it. We drove up from the peninsula today to try this spot because my boyfriend loves this place and I've never had it.

Ordered off DoorDash. Food came way faster than originally expected. Was hot and fresh. I ordered shrimp basket and reg wings. Everything was great, but I wish it came with any type of sauce.

The pizza was well made but the sauce was sweet and the cheese did not taste good. Food aside my issue is with the staff not wearing masks. Some making food in the back did not have a mask (especially this one lady that brought up fries) the rest of the staff I saw did not have there mask fully on their face (did not have their nose covered).

Order NEVER came ( after the tracking said it WAS delivered...LIES) and I had to talk to Grubhubs customer service to get a refund!!

Horrible Everything! I place my order at 10:03 $33 was taken out my account. It said 40-60 minutes. Delivery time changed twice. By 11:14 I called because we still hadn't received our food. I ordered thru seamless and it says call restaurant. So I did. They said their machine was broken. I said ok wheres my food or $33? He hung up on me. I kept calling back and no answer. I called seamless. They refunded my money but luckily I had more money because they said I will receive my money around Wednesday for Friday..... What!!! Its Saturday. Don't use seamless as well!

Wish I could give zero stars. Burger was burnt, hard, and messily thrown together (the patty was half the size of the bun), fries were bland and spongy. Never ordering from here again, elementary school cafeteria food is better.
Okay, I love fried chicken! This is one of the top 3 fried chicken I have ever had. And by far the least greasiest fried chicken or any fried food, period. I had it delivered, I can only imagine how wonderful it would be eating it fresh off the fryers. Although, they screwed my order up that I place via Grubhub, which I rejected, and 50 minutes later they sent me somewhat corrected order. I only wanted legs and thighs on my 9 piece chicken box, but they put in couple of breasts anyway... which were not as bad as chicken breasts generally are. I can't wait to order again. BTW, I ordered it from Harlem location.

I've been ordering takeout from Mama's since freshman year and it's my to go takeout place for when I'm having a bad day. The mac is on point and their fried chicken always makes the blues go away. And the milkshake... oof. Love Mama's.
