This place rocked. We wanted something close to the High Line and this place popped up. We made a reservation via Open Table. After getting delayed on the subway, we were a little late. The hostess was understandable and we were seated at a table right away. It was busy and lively. We ate the sourdough bread, citrus salad and deviled eggs. It was all good. I am certain anything is good on their menu. Thanks Cookshop!

Returning from the High Line found it by chance. We had dinner outside on the very busy street, the internal environment is more beautiful, a warm and international atmosphere.Good food all in all: fish burger served on a toasted bun, opened with salad and chips (burnt?).Average price around 20 dollars

The outdoor deck was pretty cold but everything else was a hit. The food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, the staff that checked us in, servers and our waitress were top notch. I’ll be back in the warmer months for sure.

The food was good but the service took a long time and our table was next to the door leading outside which kept opening and it was cold outside.

Excellent brunch food, large portions, and incredibly friendly staff! Cookshop is an NYC staple - we go a few times a month. Don't miss the Huevos Rancheros!

Visited bass on other tourist recommendations for a late breakfast. However it wasn't till I sat down that I was informed that the brunch offering was only available on the weekends.Having already been seated, it would have been rude to leave. I ordered the chicken salad dish which was delicious and well balanced. A tad over priced for what was served but in all an enjoyable meal.

Nice mix of healthy-ish comfort food and vegetarian dishes. Really enjoyed the “We Got the Beat” cocktail - it was a good balance of smokey mezcal, tequila, jalapeño and beet juice. The roasted sunchoke appetizer was small but very, very tasty. Highly recommend you order 2!Spiced Red Lentil Soup was lovely on a chilly evening.Husband got the Seafood Burger and said it wasn’t that amazing. Fries were decent.Service was super fast and friendly, would love to come back for brunch.Vegetarian options: Tasty vegan and vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Seems very kid friendly - quite a few were there for dinner.

Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the food was kinda disappointing - running on the overly salty side and the portions seemed small for the price they charge.Food-wise, our entire group preferred the appetizers over the entrées, so that might give you an idea of the quality. The deviled eggs were the highlight of the night. The drinks were okay - my Negroni had an odd flavor to it (almost like soap?), which seemed off, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.Probably would not return of my own volition, (because again the deviled eggs saved the meal, of all things), but the birthday boy enjoyed the relatively loud atmosphere and experience, so I guess not a waste of time overall.

Cookshop is very popular in my neighborhood and it is no debt that it is a great place to have a nice dinner date with friends and beloved one. The staff is very knowledgable and welcoming. The food is good however a little too much salty. The final dessert, toffee cake is exceptional and delicious. Dont share it and get your own plate ... that dessert is heaven !!

If you are looking for a hearty meal with an elevated twist, Cookshop is the place. I have yet to have a sub par dish and the staff here are always a delight with great recommendations. We ordered ricotta with focaccia (so good) the scallops, lamb shank and citrus salad - omggg the salad was an experience!! Never thought I would rave about a salad lol but wow! Definitely a great place with cozy outdoor seating and warm ambiance.Dietary restrictions: Staff is open to accommodate any dietary restrictions and menu does offer vegetarian and gluten free options
