I celebrated my Birthday at Corner Social this year (April 2024) for a Saturday Brunch with my close friends and had an amazing time. The staff were attentive to my group and the DJ was energetic and friendly, giving me frequent shout outs. Definitely coming back again. The shrimp and grits are delicious.

We came on a whim while being in the area for quite a while and we were hungry. We happened to come upon this spot and as it was a Sunday, there was brunch full in effect with a live dj. We were quickly seated, given menus and had waters placed in front of us. Within 10 minutes we were able to order and our food was promptly carried out of the kitchen within 15-20 minutes. Both of our dishes were hot and fresh, I have no complaints.

I booked a table for brunch based on the reviews. The sever didn’t ask us what we wanted to drink just took food orders and when I ask to order drinks it took 10 minutes before she showed back up. The food was bland, and the potions small. The couldn’t provide me with salad instead of home fries, and they only have black coffee with whole milk. Very basic requests for bunch. I’m sure it a great place at night for partying, but don’t bother with brunch. I’m not going back there for food.

Let me begin with saying I enjoyed my meal. It was the calamari salad. Though only a salad, the calamari was delicious and not chewy. I was in a party of 7 and I did not hear anyone complain about the quality of their meal. That being said, I do not recommend celebrating a birthday or any special event here. I asked the DJ for a bday shout out. it was 4pm and not crowded. He said that it is customary to tip the DJ for a shout-out. I tipped him and he did a normal shout out, no special bday song or anything more than the "customary" acknowledgment. The bday girl brought a cake. As expected, there was a cake fee. The fee was for $20 and when it was time to do the cake, the waitress brought the cake out in the exact bag we gave it to her. She didn't even remove the cake from the bag. How tacky! She did not bring us plates, as we used the same ones that was provided at the meal (unused saucer size plates) After waiting for 5 minutes, we had to ASK for forks. I have been to places that adds a cake cutting fee, but there was a service that accompany it. I am unclear where the service was for this $20 fee. It was disappointing that the Corner Social nickeled and dimed us for a shout out and for a small cake at 4pm. I may come again for a meal, but I would NEVER recommend anyone to come in a large group or for a celebration of any kind.

Fun boozy brunch spot. Their entrees were delicious and well portioned. I love the mimosa options and party vibes. Good for a birthday. Service is very slow so don't come if you're in a rush! Great time.

The atmosphere is a bar/club but the food is way better than that. I loved the vibe, music, and the food. The only downside was my Mama's Chicken sandwich; I wished the chicken was an actual thick juicy fried chicken breast sandwich but instead is a pounded out thin piece which made it very dry. My wife's curry rice, chicken dish however, was very good as was my lobster bisque. The DJ was great and played some great dance music.

I went out with my friend to have drinks and food. While eating, a roach came out on the side by me and was like hello I want to eat too. I mentioned it to the waiter there was a roach on the wall near me. He swatted at it and almost got it on me it got on my purse. He said it's okay; it's nothing I asked for the manager. The manager said oh, it happens because of upstairs. Either way, it was disgusting, and if that is there, I don't want to imagine what the kitchen looks like. He gave a 50% discount off the total price, but their attitude about the whole thing was that they did not care. Never again. I suggest you don't go there. The music Dj was jamming.

At first a good welcome, but later much less good, we waited for the cutlery which arrived well after the dishes, it was good, especially the Mac n cheese, but the worst time was to leave we waited 20 minutes standing for someone to finally come and give us the bill despite at least 5 reminders.And all for $90 for two dishes and two drinks… taxes and tips are a pain for them…

We sat outside, it was extremely loud an it was only simple tables and chairs in a tent. The food came quick and was average.While cleaning the table and removing plates the waiter knocked over a full glass of mimosa (orange juice with sparkling wine) it broke and Everything flowed into my husband's pants. There was no excuse, the waiter came with one towel and cleaned the table, but didn’t bring a new glass with a drink (or at least asked if we want one) and lets the shards under the table. Then I asked for a new glass with mimosa but the waiter „forgot“ it. During checkout, my husband addressed this once more, no sorry, he didn’t even wait until we signed the receipt and left him standing without goodby. We‘re „only“ tourists….

I had a very pleasant experience at Corner Social, the music was amazing, not too loud, I was able to have conversations with my friends without shouting. For appetizer, I had the chicken spring rolls, very interesting taste and different but very delicious, would order a second time. For Entries, I ordered the salmon with mash potatoes. The meal was delicious, well seasoned, interms of appearance, compared to others my plate was very colorless, I think I ate maybe 3 small cherry tomatoes and 2 broccoli lol the portion size very small but it was very delicious. If you skipped lunch and you're hungry, dont order but want something not hearty, then order. Overall, my experience was great. Would definitely visit to try the rest of the menu
