Ordered last evening's supper from here. The prices are lower than most other chicken places.The chicken was very crispy and had more flavor than other shops. The only negative is the salt level is very high, but nothing I can't handle occasionally. The crust was not as heavy as Popeyes or KFC, a plus for me.The coleslaw was very creamy and tasty. The order was delivered hot and exactly as ordered. Will repeat soon.

The chicken is juicy and crispy. They have good prices. I usually get the 5 for $5.99 deal which includes 3 thighs and 2 drumsticks.

I looked online for just a regular fried chicken place with no frills. I'm a New Orleans native and that's usually where the best fried chicken comes from. It brought me to Crown fried chicken. They had a nice little line that was moving at a nice pace which was comforting to me bc I would assume that their chicken moves pretty fast without sitting for hella long. Boy was I wrong! I'd ordered a six piece chicken and fries. I got one drumstick and five thighs. The chicken was HORRIBLE!! It was very old, dry and hard, I ended up taking a bite out of each piece and each price was very hard to chew. They had a little nice flavor to them and had they been hot and fresh, I probably would have like it. Unfortunately, I won't be back to this place again... I should have known something was up when the guy taking my order literally looked thru me to ask someone outside what they wanted when I was standing right in front of his face.
