I ordered spaghetti pomodoro and the food came with a hair ? they didn't charge for it but it was a bad experience

Food was great although we were for coffee and dessert. Took long time to bring the dessert and the coffee was not hot. They fixed after with another. Recommended anyways

Da Gennaro is one of the most beautiful restaurants on Mulberry Street. It is woman owned, we are so happy to support! The hostess is so lovely, and speaks so many languages! We had several drinks, then decided to split a pizza, it was very flavorful! It was a beautiful day to sit outside, their patio is well maintained. The service was excellent, I have worked in hospitality for over a decade, we were well taken care of.

The food was really good. We kind of just walked past this restaurant when the owner came outside and said if we didn’t like it, we didn’t have to pay. Could not pass up that offer and I’m glad we didn’t.
Just another tourist trap...bad food...bad service....it is what it is...

Happened to walk by and decided to have dinner. Quick to be seated but took about 15 minutes for a server to come by after we flagged them down. We ordered drinks & food all at once and once it was brought to us we never saw the server again. There was another guy working who seemed like someone who knew what he was doing and he ended up helping get us refills and our check, wish I got his name.
We were very well received, the atmosphere is warm. However, what remains the essential: the CUISINE. We had a very classic dish: Spaghetti with meatball, we're still looking for the meat... And I'm not talking about the final note.

Good Italian food..but the place in Little Italy is fascinating! I wasn't there to "enjoy" the food but at Gennaro's, a historic place in old NY.
