Those toasts all looked SO pretty! Tasted great too! My favorite was the black sesame one. The hojicha latte was also super refreshing. They don’t have a lot of space inside so the wait might be quite long.

I should live in New York to go to this place often. It is a small but cozy cafe, I love the decoration but above all the service and the food, it is very different but at the same time it is cozy and pleasant. I loved the matcha lemonade, it is simply refreshing and delicious. All the dishes we ordered were very delicious but the mentai mayo toast was my favorite dish of the ones we tried.

Food was good but the way we were treated was unacceptable.My partner and I are fast eaters, so as soon as we were done with our food, we were given the bill and asked to leave because there was a queue. Our total time in the restaurant was about 15 mins.This is the first time we've been asked to leave a restaurant while we tried to get the first sip of our beverage.To anyone planning to visit this place, take your time eating and leave your plates half full if you'd like to sit a little longer and enjoy your day.

Definitely check this place out on a weekday. The first time we went service and food were both great. The second time was on a weekend and it was very disorganized. We were told to wait for a few minutes, but left after close to an hour. People kept cutting the line and there was no system in place to keep track of the wait.
The store supposedly closes at 5pm so we came here at 430pm and see all the staff are sitting at the bar. One of them comes to the door when we were about to enter and says they are doing last call, tells us to move away and proceeds to close the door on us. Very rude and will not be coming here again.

wouldn't go here again, one of the toast was good but not worth the price for what we got, especially with terrible service. lack of manners, showed displeased or annoyed facial expressions, and no customer service. wouldnt go here again.

If I could give them 0 star I would!! the staffs were so rude and racist. The way he took order was super rude and unfriendly no smile at all while the next customers who were not Asian came and he greeted them super nice. we were being super understanding disregard customer service at that point. Our group had 6 people, since they dont have tables and chairs for that many people we rearranged the chairs so we had space to sit (because there are some groups who did that too). One staff came out and he talked (to only our group) with an attitude how this is a to-go store not a restaurant (while it was not only us who rearranged the chairs and we were gonna put it back anyways). He also mentioned how we have to clean up after (with an attitude) as if we were gonna leave the table dirty?! Overall the food is mid and overpriced and the service was absolutely HORRIBLE. I mean how could they be racist towards Asians when they are Asians themselves LMAO.I will never come back and Davelle words of mouth is more powerful than you may think.

Davelle is a very charming restaurant that is perfect for catching up with a friend over breakfast. I ordered the berry and cream cheese toast, which was beautiful and tasty. Note that the price is high for what it is. My friend ordered the curry, which I thought was good but nothing too special. Would recommend skipping. I liked the hoji-cha latte, which has a great flavor and is very refreshing. Overall, I think it's definitely worth visiting Davelle at least once. Important to note that the space is very small so it's better to go by yourself or with a small group. There's also usually a long wait on weekends so make sure to get there earlier to avoid the crowd.
