I visited this rooftop bar last week and loved it! Iwas greeted on the ground floor with warm,friendly customer service, then guided onto an elevator leading to the bars floor. I was quickly seated directly at the bar, and immediately loved the vibe of the place. The view is incredible, the playlist is fun and the ambient lighting all make this spot relaxing, despite how busy the place is. My bartender was Maria, who was knowledgable, friendly and after listening to my flavor pallette, mixed me delicious drinks which completely matched what I said I liked. I felt looked after and the entire experience was lovely, infact I ended up staying far later than planned! Thank you Maria and all the staff at Dear Irving, I will be back!!
This is a perfect rooftop bar if you want to have a cocktail or a glass of wine and a snack with a fantastic panoramic view of New York's skyline. The menu has wide variety of cocktails and the food consists only of some snacks, so it is not the right place if you come specially for food, but the place is the perfect choice for the atmosphere, service and the amazing scenery from the 40th floor. You need to reserve a table in advance, you can mention that you would like to have seats near the window (for the view), in my case the restaurant fulfilled my wish.
