My second time dining at Del Posto and my first review. DP is a very attractive restaurant that has many plusses and a few minuses. The dining room is very attractive, but a bit too formal for the neighborhood. The server's are polite and professional, but a bit stiff for my taste. The food is very good, but the portions are way too small. The voluminous wine list has many excellent wines for diners with seven figure incomes. Desserts were nothing special. Our bill for two was a bit steep, and my feeling is that there are better options in this price range.

Another of the MARVELOUS meals we ate on our visits to New York, where we've always stayed on Manhattan, and eaten at the finest restaurants in the city. I apologize for losing my notes about what we ate, and what we thought of everything, but our waiter, seen in an accompanying photo, was Andrés, who was well-suited to his work, and made us feel more like we were at the home of close friends, than at "just another restaurant."

Everyone took their job seriously, had an attitude of wanting to deliver top-notch service, and the education the leaders provided was excellent. I will always cherish the memories from this place. The guests always seemed wowed, but just letting everyone know, the people who worked there too felt the same.

Fiancé made a reservation for my birthday and I must this I loved this place. We ordered from the pre-fixe menu with wine pairing. The service and food was superb. Get ready to be in pasta heaven.
