I have been going to Dil e Punjab since 2015. In my opinion, you cannot get a better meal in Chelsea, at that price. It’s been a staple for me - when I’m short on time, exhausted, or don’t feel like cooking…Dil e Punjab has always been my favorite neighborhood option. The food is great, everyone is always very kind, service is fast, and portions are generous.

Saag is tasteless, samosa was soggy.Guys working there were rude af, kept trying to ignore me and take other customers that came in after me. Had to tell them to give me a damn fork and remind them that I had also ordered a samosa.Place is dirty as hell, even for a NY deli counter. At least it was cheap. Don’t care, won’t return.

Local vegetarian Indian restaurant. Cheap prices and great food. The guys that work there are really nice. The food is made fresh in the morning. So the earlier you go, the better it is. In my opinion the samosas are the star of the restaurant. Although you can't go wrong with a platter. It's very good as well. The samosas are $2.50 and fairly big, great value. This is my go to place for a samosa. I don't think you'll find one that is cheaper.

My friend suggested this place for samosas. It was pretty cheap at 2.50 each and I purchased one and one of the other potato wrapped item they had out on display. Unfortunately both weren't fresh and so they heated it up in the microwave which was a bit disappointing since that wouldn't make it crispy, only hot. I went back and used the air fryer and it tasted amazing. The flavors were plentiful and rich. It made me crave 3 more of the samosas. I've been thinking about it for days.
