Definitely the place to go to release after work energy. The bar is especially energetic (some people really howling like our monkeys in Costa Rica), and many of the tables are similarly loud. The food can be very good (fried calamari) or a little disappointing (lobster roll). The fish look delicious. The hosts and table service team are professional and welcoming. A good place to come if you can take the noise.

The food was quite awful, that's being generous. And it was very overpriced for food that was barely food truck quality. I've had better diner food. The waiter couldn't have been more disinterested. There was barely any crab in the bread cakes they served. As for the other food ?. I will never visit this diner ever again. And you could forget I'd even mention this DUMP to anyone. Best thing that could happen is closing this place. Doesn't deserve on stinking star!???

Although I live on the upper East side, I would return. My friend's wild salmon was cooked to perfection. My 1 1/2 lb Steamed lobster was also cooked to perfection and sweet. Cherry stone clams were at a perfect temperature and delicious plus the coconut milk latte was strong and perfect temperature. Although I live on the upper East side, my 15 minute taxi ride would do again

Really amazing food and service. The lobster ravioli was great as were the oysters but it was the sushi that was the star of the show

I hadn't been there in many years. We were warmly greeted by the host, and then quickly greeted by our waiter. Our waiter was efficient, polite, friendly, and attentive. One of us made a request to substitute a vegetable with our main courses, which was easily accommodated. My friend and I shared a Caesar salad which turned out to be not my favorite, because it is made largely with kale. The dressing was fine, though I've had better. We each had pan-roasted branzino, which was excellent! Flavorful, skin crisped, and perfectly cooked. There is a good selection of wines by the glass. We finished with decaf cappuccinos which were very good. We can't comment on desserts. We lingered over the coffee and never were rushed. Prices are on the higher end, but I felt this dinner was overall a good value. I will not wait so long to return.

Absolutely loved the lobster roll (Connecticut style). It’s the best roll I’ve had in years. I’d travel all the distance just to have that roll. The service was fantastic, we were seated at a corner table which was quieter compared to the bar which gets busy.

Oysters were good.Had the lobster roll. It was fresh but not as buttery. The coleslaw and fries were also yummy. The margarita wasn't as good as i expected.

Docks used to be a place we went to all the time, dinner, happy hour, great meeting spot. Had colleague in from out of town, wanted a quiet place to have a good lunch and catch up. Service was fair, they took forever to take our order, once they did, food arrived quickly. Took equally as long to get anyone's attention to get the bill. Lobster roll was a joke, $37.00, ridiculously small amount of lobster pieces, not a claw to be seen. Burger was excellent. Salad with tuna was okay, but again, $ 38.00 is a lot for a salad with a small piece of tuna. I would not return based on food quality, value & service. Too many options in the area to settle for mediocre.

Large space - great food, service and ambiance. We return often, especially for the happy hour at the bar!

I had friends in NYC from the UK and wanted to provide a NY experience The service was wonderful (as always), food was great and the jazz was a nice plus (although a little loud at the bar). One of my favorite restaurants in the city
