Baked goods here are always fresh, they still have options when I went in at 5pm on a Saturday. Workers are neither nice or mean, and it’s typically always packed with a few seats open. They provide a brown paper bag and charge 5 cents for a bag with handles.

The cake tastes terrible and the rolls also definitely don't let the good reviews blind them. Can be thrown away immediately after

Quality of the mochi poor. No one tasted it. Mochi does not have a bite and is too soft. Rule number 1 always taste your product.

If you see only Chinese people inside then you known you must enter. The pastries are delicious, cheap and low in sugar!! Something extremely rare to see in a city like NYC! Service is not the best though, but it is something cultural I think so do not take it personal :)If you are matcha lover then this is your place. As a bonus, the building where it is placed is iconic

I bought a large cup of coffee this morning. When I was almost done drinking it, I noticed a few shredded pieces of paper at the bottom of the cup. It was disgusting. I didn’t expect the hygiene of this store to be so bad.
