This speak easy is one of NYCs hidden gems. The service was impeccable and the drinks are top notch. The ambiance was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy a relaxing drink. Garfunkel's is not only a speak easy bar but it also has afternoon tea service. As of this posting there's a groupon available which I purchased for a weekend excursion. Garfunkels is located above a burger joint so I can see how some people might have trouble finding it. We made a reservation for the time in which it opened and when we rang the bell no one answered. I always love discovering a new speakeasy in the area and this spot is absolutely perfect for date night, definitely a first date spot as well.It’s hidden above the coolest little burger joint and has a 1920s themed lounge with very unique drinks that will have you exploring the whole menu!My absolute favorite drink that I will be back for was the “Button Man”, served with Blended scotch, Mr. Black Coffee, Licor 43, Drambouie, angostura on the rocks with an orange twist.
