Dropped by this small cafe to get warmed up for a bit before heading out again to the freezing cold. Several seats (bar stools) by the window. No public restroom for customers. They accept both credit/debit card and cash. Through the glass display, there's a small selection of bread, cake, muffins, tiramisu, flan, cookies and other pastries on the left while they've different gelato flavors on the right side. On the wall, you can find a menu of drinks being listed along with the prices. So, I've ordered a slice of torta nera gentile (dark chocolate sponge cake) - $6 and a hot cup of mocha ($5.50). Price wise ranges from standard to moderate as this is a cafe in Soho, Manhattan after all. The staff is friendly and service seems to be pretty fast. One of them misheard me saying iced mocha so she was nice enough to make a new drink for me afterwards. Mocha is chocolatey, better than other places. However, I should have specified to her that I don't want that much foam in my drink because the ratio between foam and drink itself don't seem to be even like 50/50. It's more like 60% foam & 40% drink which felt like I got ripped off in a way...ripped off from a hot drink smh. As for the chocolate sponge cake, it was the perfect snack to indulge on right after having lunch from across the street. Can totally taste the richness of the chocolate and the fluffiness of the cake. You can tell that they didn't use just any lower quality chocolate. Love how the sweetness isn't overwhelming at all to the point that it's just sugar and nothing else compared to the sweets from other bakeries/cafes. Overall, it's just a simple cafe with simple desserts and friendly folks behind the counter serving customers. By the way, you can always ask for utensils/napkins from the staff if needed. Can't wait to go back and try the different gelato flavors!!!

Great experience — wasn’t sure what I wanted and settled on limone without considering the other flavors, but the staff was so nice and thorough with explaining all the flavors and helped me try out some samples — picked Apple and Limone in the end and was super pleased!

The ice cream is really good, the portions could be better. Reasonable prices only 2 to 3 dollars more than a McDonald's icecream. There is not a lot of space to sit, but otherwise is great.

Love love love their gelato! Their flavors are so unique and the staff was helpful with explaining each one and offering you samples. Their milk chocolate gelato was smooth and so delicious. I love how they add a cone to the top of each bowl!

I recommend their signature flavor Crema Antica if you like a little bit of lime taste. I also loved the Cioccolato Africano.

On the first wintry day of the year I bumped into this place. Had two fruit flavored sorbetti (apple and citrus), both intense with flavor and not too sweet. The place is not fussy but atmospheric with the Italian pop radio in the background, brought me back to a neighborhood bar in Palermo.

Amazing gelato, the dark chocolate flavor is the richest and the darkest I've ever had. And get the chinotto flavor if you get a chance, it's an Italian citrus fruit, but tastes nothing like the citrus I've had before.

The staff's behavior was unprofessional. They rudely refused to close the door on the coldest day. Additionally, they struggled to provide sleeves for the cup, making it difficult for me to enjoy my tea. Moreover, their loud behavior added to the unpleasant experience.

Great selection of flavors! The stracciatella gelato is so lovely and creamy, but the serving is pretty small for the price you pay ($8 for a small). And they don't allow adults to get kid scoops, which is a bummer since most other places don't mind. I hope they'd be open to changing that policy since sometimes, a little treat is all you need!
