This place was absolutely delicious, and by far one of the best Vietnamese cuisines in NYC!! The food, drinks, and dessert were delicious and the service was outstanding! I had a great experience dining in here!

Stopped in for dinner. It’s a very popular place for people dining alone- more than half of the tables were singles. I ordered the shrimp pancakes for appetizer and the vermicelli bowl with chicken for a main. Both were delicious and light. I wish the food would’ve been faster out - the table next to me sat down after me and was done eating before I got my app. ( pho does come out quick). Very good dinner.

A nice restaurant to go for Vietnamese food, the cocktail is good but do not order the bubble milk tea cocktail because it was not good. The pho and summer roll was delightful. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere at the restaurant was

The food here was phenomenal, especially considering the price. For the tartare at $16 with bone marrow and a quail egg, the pricing is so good it literally had me concerned I was going to get food poisoning. Instead, I was met with a heavenly tartare with beautiful presentation. Possibly the best deal in NYC I have experienced. The tartare is heavily recommended, as is the coffee.

My friend and I have visited this location on two separate occasions and both times were a hit ! I’d like to highlight the service foremost because the staff truly go above and beyond in a very calm manner. They do not hesitate to answer questions or solve any problems that arise during your visit. The atmosphere is very light and pleasant, which directly reflects the spirit of the food they are putting out. This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in the lower east side. The pho is exceptional, bursting with flavor and you can taste how fresh their ingredients are. I enjoyed the spicy coconut base with chicken added in, while my friend had a spicy pork shoulder. Sooooo good especially on a chilly night it’s exactly what you need. The drinks and appetizers are very good as well, once again staying true to their culture and delivering authentic delicious options. Also definitely try and get a reservation during known peak days and holidays.

This place is the bomb. I went there on a whim that it might be, and little did we know, we were in for a treat!! My mom, wife and kid had a great time and loved the food. I’ve been around and I’d say this is one of the best pho soup I’ve had in a long time. The appetizers were fresh and spot on.And the cocktails are great and low on alcohol.Go for it.

This Vietnamese restaurant is more like a Thai-Vietnamese location than an authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I’ll start with the good: service was quick and good, and the interior was cozy.Aside from that, I’m afraid I can’t say anything else good. The food was an utter disappointment. We had the beef pho and the grilled pork vermicelli bowl. The pho soup was mediocre, the noodles were overcooked, and the brisket was tough. The vermicelli bowl was even worse - the vermicelli was warm and mushy for some reason, and the “grilled” pork wasn’t grilled at all. It was actually stewed pork, which somehow managed to be the dry and flavorless. For a place named Ginger and Lemongrass, these flavors were lacking.(Side note, the white rice here is basmati rice. What type of Vietnamese restaurant uses basmati rice instead of jasmine rice!?)

Food is solid, not bad, not great. Just expected Pho + bone marrow to really HIT and it wasn't there. Maybe i should re-calculate my expectations. Lovee the decorations very cute place. Feels to me like a asian restaurant owned by a white person, I have no idea whether that is the case i'm just saying it feels that way. Nice spot though! 4 stars.
