I hate to say it but I was less than impressed with their products. The viral Frozen Hot Chocolate (and variations of) as well as the Glacier drinks are very Instagrammable. They are definitely aesthetically pleasing, and they do taste good. But are they extraordinary? I don't think as much. The offerings wouldn't warrant another trip all the way uptown for their treats. The torched marshmallow was tasty. It wasn't overly sweet and the torching gave it a good smokiness, but overall, it was not that innovative. The Glacier is a glorified milkshake with a Magic Shell like coating. The servings aren't very big but pricey at $12 for a meager 8oz (or less) cup. I will happily pay for quality, but this was a miss for me.Perhaps, more off putting to me was the service we received from the staff member. We were first timers and we asked a lot of questions. We were trying to understand their offerings and he grew impatient with us. He seemed to want to take our order and just dismiss us from the shop. He sloppily drizzled chocolate on the Frozen Hot Chocolate and almost grunted while begrugdingly putting the drink on the counter. By the end of the exchange, the experience was transactional at best. I understand we asked a lot of questions, but as I mentioned, this was our first time visiting. We actually were very enthusiastic about making the trek to this shop we'd long had on our list for our trip. We were ready to be dazzled by their drinks and tell everyone about this place. But this employee thoroughly deflated any excitement we had and we walked out of there feeling admonished. A bit surprising considering he should be one of tbe biggest and best brand ambassadors and gracious host. If I were a business owner, I would want my customers leaving my shop feeling great about their experience, not that you were an annoyance and dismissed.Overall, I'll rate their menu items two stars (1 for presentation and 1 for taste), but customer service was at an all time low.

Delicious and I would go back for more. We didn't have to wait in line, perhaps because it wasn't so cold in NY anymore. The preparation is quite a show, the place is quite small but sufficient for the menu they have. The people who served us were very patient because we couldn't decide what to order and they recommended the best option for hot chocolate. They have a base menu and seasonal flavors. We didn't expect anything and it surprised us. If you don't eat a lot of sweets and want to order hot chocolate, I recommend ordering one to share because it can be cloying.

Noglu has only slightly redeemed themselves to me by opening this ice cream shop. I thoroughly enjoyed the toasted meringue, but by the time they toast the meringue and add toppings to your ice cream sundae, the ice cream is melted. They need to work on the consistency of the ice cream. Just like Noglu, they insist on tiny portions for exuberant prices. The scoops of ice cream were smaller than what most ice cream shops serve. We spent over $35 on two little sundaes with tiny, melting scoops of ice cream. The brownie mascarpone flavor was disappointing because it was 75% brownie. I wish they still offered the baked Alaska sundae. They were also out of both the matcha stracciatella and Thai tea stracciatella. The flavors listed on the wall do not seem to reflect the flavors in the case. It seems that just like Noglu, they often run out of items early in the day.Another issue is that this place is not accessible whatsoever. There’s no way a wheelchair user could fit in here unless maybe they were completely empty. At the very least they could have a wider doorway so that it’s easier to wait in line and let other people in and out. It was extremely cramped waiting by the door to get in.

Perfect takeaway dessert spot for a picnic in Central Park! Really liked their Reese-flavored hot chocolate. Very sweet and suprisingly not super heavy.

Finally went to try the frozen hot chocolate, with the marshmallow & whipped cream. I think it’s overrated..yes the marshmallow was good but the chocolate overall was quite bland in my opinion. I wonder if the hot chocolate is better.

No line. Not worth the experience from poor service and communication. The concept is fun but the customer service is not up to their dessert quality. The cashier gets irritated easily and has attitude. She keeps on asking people with the mean tone of voice like "I'm asking you do you want it hot or iced." Like chill it's an ice cream shop

We got the Frozen S'mores hot chocolate. The frozen hot chocolate itself tastes like a fudgesicle, the whipped cream is rich and thick, and the toasted marshmallow is a worthwhile addition. We sampled a few of the gelatos which were very good too. We've gone twice, both around lunch time and experienced no line.

Glace by Noglu is the internet viral hot chocolate in NY. My friend had tagged me in one of their posts shortly before my trip, so I made a point to visit when I was in NY a couple of months ago. They open at 11am, and my cousin and I were there right when they opened, and there was already a long line. We waited about 20 minutes to get through the doors. The hot chocolate is upwards of $10 each. I got the peppermint hot chocolate $12.50 and it was good, it tastes like a regular peppermint hot cocoa to me. I guess what sets it apart from other places is the torched marshmallow fluff. Cute place to grab hot chocolate!

The line to this place is always ridiculous but the product itself is great. Almost had sugar rush drinking it though

Better late than never! So happy I got to try their viral hot chocolates! They have so many hot chocolate (and ice cream) options that it was so hard to pick just one to try. I eventually went with the Chocolate Chip S'mores, which featured their hot chocolate with a scoop of cream and a salted chocolate chip cookie on top of a rim of toasted marshmallow. -Chocolate chip: Enjoyed the chunks of chocolate. It was a little on the saltier side but the salinity helped balance the sweetness of the other components. The edges were crispy and middle was more chewy. -Cream: Smooth and not too sweet (compared to other components) -Marshmallow: The toasted bits were yum and almost had a spiced/cinnamon-y flavor? -Hot chocolate: Definitely chocolate-y but a little too sweet for my liking. Consistently was more on the watery side which I think is appropriate in the context the addition of other toppings/ingredients. I'd imagine if it was more thick/rich it would be overwhelming. The staff member making my drink was very friendly and nice, but the cashier was a little impatient. One drink is about $13-15. Overall, I don't think any particular part blew me away; however I liked how someone put all these sweets together to create a decadent dessert experience. Definitely worth trying at least once! I also really want to go back to try their ice creams since they had some very interesting flavors like tahini honeycomb and white chocolate pistachio.

Perfect place for a picture perfect cup of hot chocolate. It tasted great and the service was quick. The presentation of the drink is also fun and picture worthy!

The hot chocolate wasn't as sweet as other cafes, although the brownie and marshmallow eventually fell into the drink and it wasn't interesting anymore, but it was cool to try
