I took my family to Bollywood themed Holi brunch. The brunch was super quiet with hardly another table being used. The food was amazing. The service however was extremely slow and specially when restaurant was almost empty. The brunch menu had way too many options and for the extra food that many of us on the table could not eat (entirely untouched Bdw) not only they do not allow it to be taken away, they refused to give it to away to the less privileged people. It was a lot of untouched food wasted and as a matter of principle, I will not be visiting this place again. Way too much food wastage at this place when in some parts of the world people are going hungry. Person who was supposed to help us with our enquiries, came across very defensive, not a pleasant experience overall. And the glasses were not clean. They missed one of the appetisers, which we never bothered to even complaint having seen their attitude.I expected a party with fun bollywood atmosphere, instead we received bad attitude and poor service.

Visited this restaurant on a Tuesday evening due to which there was no crowd. The ambiance of this restaurant is made to look upscale but in reality this place is very deceiving. We ordered a cocktail called “Goan Paradise” which tasted mediocre for $22 and served in a cheap glass which felt like use and throw party glass (photo attached). The water glasses were not clean as there was some residue floating on water so had to get them changed. They also charged 20% fee for the two of us by the name “Large Party fee” which was totally unacceptable(Photo attached). Would have expected a better menu curation for such an “upscale” restaurant because there were very few vegetarian options and especially considering Indian vegetarian food options are endless, they could have done a better job with menu. I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anybody nor visit again because there are other Indian restaurants (aRoqa for example) which are upscale in reality unlike this one and have a lot better tasting food.

The Manager, Melvin is a great host and made sure our experience was amazing. Definitely coming here again. The thandai, vada pav and pav bhaji reminded me of my mom’s home cooking back in Delhi. Yummy!

Far better places for Indian food in NYC than Goa. Its over priced and overall service not great. Also do note that while open hours say from 4pm onwards, in reality, none of the staff are there for 4pm so their need to adjust their timings to ensure they dont mis-lead folks.

Went for Valentine’s Day. Reached at 8 pm. Left after 11 pm. Painfully slow service. Took 25 mins for the first snack to be served. Another 30 mins for main course. Not sure why on a celebratory day, the service was so poor. People around us seemed frustrated with the service too.Food:Bhelpuri - 7/10Yam nachos- 7/10Beetroot tikki bun - 9/10Sharaabi chicken - 9/10Butter chicken - 6/10 - also, was served cold but we had no energy left to ask for it to be reheated and wait again.Lamb roganjosh- 6/10 - was served coldKulfi- 6/10Carrot sweet cake - 6/10I hope this was a one off and the restaurant is and can do better ! The place does have potential !

Extremely poor service. Probably the worst I have experienced in NYC. Took 30 mins to get the first course for a 4 course meal, and a total of 3 hours to complete the 4 course meal. We came at 8 and left at 11 because of the slow service. And then the main course was not even warm when it arrived. Not worth it at all given they charged $100 per person. Charged 20% automatic gratuity coz it was a pre fixed menu! I wish I could give 0 stars for the service. Avoid at all costs - better go to Tamarind, Baar Baar or Junoon for the same price. 1 star for ambience, and 1 star for at least acknowledging that their service was poor.

Quite literally the worst dining experience I’ve had in NYC after 3 years of living here.Food was bland, we were seated at 6:30 pm and food arrived at 9 pm, and the bill was an order of magnitude higher than deserved.Goa NYC is a prime example of NYC attractions that don’t need to worry about catering to returning customers, as they bank on unsuspecting tourists trying this place for the first time. You are significantly better off going to the Domino’s pizza around the corner

Service was poor, most of the items on the menu were not available. The food quality as such was not good enough, by the time food was brought to our table it was cold.
