Ambiance and food were great. However, service was average at best. The two individuals at host stand could not be any less interested when we checked in for our reservation. It was the same as we left. The waiter was also not very attentive and had to be flagged down for service several times (we are the least fussiest group and simply wanted to order food and drinks) and this was a mid week evening where the place was not too busy. Given the cost and brand name, I expected much better service. Would still recommend for an experience.

CAFE . My family stopped by the Cafe at Baccarat for a coffee. There was a table minimum order of $75.00. Ordered a capuccino ($14), a latte ($14), a tea ($14) and a pancake ($34). $80 total before tips. LOL. But it was luxurious and grandeur.

This restaurant is truly one of the most beautiful, classy, and upscale establishments in NYC. Everything about it is simply incredible. While it may be on the pricier side, the quality you receive is worth every penny. The food is consistently fresh, and the drinks are expertly crafted. The ambiance is unparalleled, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the city. From the moment we arrived until we left, the service and food exceeded our expectations. We stayed for more than 4 hours without feeling rushed, a testament to the relaxed yet attentive service.Surrounded by glimmering crystal and luxurious decor, you can't help but feel special here. Thank you for maintaining such high standards flawlessly!"

The service from the reception is appalling, the restaurant was nearly empty and we have been told that the only table available is the one that has stools which seems like it's for people who are not residents of the hotel, we waited for 10 min for service but no one came until we decided to leave as the way we have been treated was very bad. We decided to go to Trump tower instead to receive the best service and meal.Baccarat was the worst experience for us in New York.

Pathetic services food was decent not the way it used to be. But the service was appalling.Food took a lot of Time to come. Cutlery was not given with the soup. Took so much time to take the order. Servers need a lot of training. They just walk around with no idea what to do.

Disappointing Experience at BACCART Hotel My recent stay at Bacc-rat Hotel left much to be desired. Initially excited for a gathering place, I was met with after-hours business meetings characterized by negative discussions about companies. The atmosphere was soured further by the condescending attitude of Metra D, prioritizing certain guests over others based on perceived importance. The dress code disparity added to the discomfort, with guests looking basic in jeans while my party was dressed impeccably. However, the saving grace was the accommodating host at another part of the hotel who provided excellent service, culminating in a superbly crafted French martini that helped salvage the evening. In summary, Baccarat Hotel was a misleading and misguided choice, catering primarily to individuals venting about their work frustrations rather than providing a relaxing environment for guests to enjoy life. As the French saying goes, "Misleading, misguided, et absolument pas l'endroit de quiconque." (Misleading, misguided, and absolutely not anyone's place.) Overall, I cannot recommend boooo to that Hotel for those seeking a genuine retreat from the stresses of everyday life.

Me and my friends made Three reservations to celebrate my birthday. Each one of us had a reservation for 5 guests, which totaled 15. Also, two guests got there early, a married couple and a client of mine, who ultimately were seated under their and ordered a bottle and invited another couple to join. So total it was 17 folks who came out to celebrate. Once I got there, the female host (not sure of her background but she was lighter skinned or European) who appeared to be running point on staff was doing what she could to accommodate to ensure we all sat nearby at the grand salon. This male taller African American guy who I see often when I go, told a person in my group that he would place us all together in the bar area. This is NOT something I asked for. At this point, my guests were sitting in the dining area but were confused about why we had to move— this was almost an hour into our reservation and no service was offered, so some folks started to order the bar as we waited to be seated and serviced. The taller male guy constantly made comments to the guests to make them feel unwanted and uncomfortable about being in the space. Some of these guests were from out of town and seated but he continued to make comments like “ this not that type of bar” implying that guests can't order from the bar I assumed but most took it as racial profiling because his comments didn't make sense. As I got the party to sit in the space, this guy then plucked me out of the group (in front of all my guests — which was embarrassing), took me into the hall with the female hosts, and proceeded to reprimand me and talk down to me and say he will force to charged me a minimum— which his tone made me feel like he thought me or my guests wouldn't have the money or be deterred from staying. I asked him several times to stop speaking to me in that manner and share what the minimum was, the female manager/hosts intervened and then shared the min. I agreed and offered my card, but the woman

I recently visited a usually favorite bar of mine that left me utterly disappointed and disheartened. First and foremost, the service was shockingly terrible. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic professionalism and courtesy. My significant other was celebrating his birthday and the remarks that was told to a large group of black people was disheartening and disappointing. We constantly was told that “This is not that type of bar” when we tried to order at the bar, while server never addressed the table to even take our order after sitting for almost an hour. And it was unfortunate that it was told to us by another black person working at the establishment. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere since it seemed we was not welcomed and didn't want our money. We will never attend this establishment again due to these unfortunate circumstances.

We went in for the afternoon tea menu. The staff are quick and super niceThe decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is very relaxedThe tea was delicious, highly recommend the Cacao ChaiWe selected the savory assortment .Presentation-wise everything looked beautiful. The savory bites were ok but nothing to get super excited about, for the price point I admit I expected better quality. The Sweet part was good, very nice selection and very tasty.

This is my second time here at Baccarat.• The interior is very impressive.• The location is great but the service for this kind of place is disappointing.• We were waiting for our table for over 25 minutes.• We tried the afternoon tea and chose the savory version. Even though it is the savory version, it has a lot of sweets there.• The savory part was not so good, the bread was not fresh.• The sweet part of it was pretty good. The scones were delicious, just perfect.• The tea assortment is great.• The service and atmosphere were relaxed, even too relaxed.• There was constant waiting to get any attention from the servers.• Overall this place is overpriced with underwhelming service.

What a fine and divine atmosphere!I love this place, it is very sexy, elegant, classy and with a wonderful service. The decoration is beautiful since the moment that you arrive to the lobby. There is a cocktail with passion fruit and tequila that is delicious. Also, a good selection of champagne, wine and whiskey. The food is exquisite. I highly recommend tuna tartare and the filet. My favorite tables are the ones in front of the bar, I prefer this area better than the big salon in the back.Reservation is a must. Dress up to impress!Upscale. You get what you pay for.
