My favorite bar when going out with my friends. Usually the music is not very loud which allows you to chat. Larger drinks than in other bars, at a lower price and with more alcohol. Some of the most unprofessional, unfriendly bartenders you'll find, especially the ones who are part-owners.Used to love this place the first few years it was open, but not anymore.

I'm no fan of sports but I find it easy to ignore the half dozen screens and focus instead on the clientele. The crowd leans friendly and the drinks are big, strong, and cheap. What more could you want?

Spent Pride Weekend at this place , the Bartending Staff was Extraordinary and the atmosphere was amazing. The DJ kept it pumping. What a great place! Their drinks were oh my, so delicious! I recommend GYM BAR NYC! A must visit.Wheelchair accessibility: Access was perfect.

Went to Gym Bar late this afternoon, 6/25. Went to the downstairs bar and ordered a Heineken 00. When I gave the black bartender with the dreadlocks two $5s, I expected $3 bucks back (my first Heineken 00 at the upstairs bar was $7, and I gave the bartender a $3 buck tip. The bartender downstairs didn't even hand over the change; he just threw it in the tip bucket. That wasn't right. Not right at all. But I still love Gym Bar !

I really like the vibe at this bar. It felt very friendly and social without be pretentious. There is a game table and the drinks flow. The bartenders were friendly and attentive- they even remembered my drink. On the night I went they had some free cocktail food - which most in NYC call dinner - given the cost of a meal up here.

First ever gay bar I went. I really like the ambience. It's a sport specialized bar which is very cool if you want to watch matches of any sports. Nice service and friendly people !

Used to be a trustworthy place until todayWalked in and asked if there were any drink specialsWas told Smirnoff was the vodka specail at $7 from 1P to 7P, I believeI definitely did not get Smirnoff on my second cocktail from Collin S.No wonder there are better, so-called, gay 'sportsbars' to go to on W 20th besides this shady sh$thole
