My least favourite cuban ever. They use white american cheese and no mustard. Pulled Pork is on the drier and blander side. If this is your thing you’d like it but as a Cubano enthusiast i was so sad.

This place was alright. I ordered the blackened chicken Diablo sandwich and it barely had a flavor. I had to ask for hot sauces to try to taste anything. If it weren’t for the peppers in the sand which, it truly would have tasted like plain grilled chicken on bread with nothing else. The dish that is worth getting here though is the corn - just the right amount of toppings to taste everything and not completely mask the corn. Haven’t tasted anything else so take this rating with a grain of salt, but you might need that grain for the blacked chicken sandwich ?.

I am not here to diminish star ratings, so I won’t give an unreasonable rating, however management needs to know that your waitstaff just spilled an entire tray of drinks on my lap without even a word.

Where should I start… as a Cuban-American individual I am going to say right now the only thing “Cuban” in this place is the name. I was visiting family in NYC and was having a nice afternoon stroll and stumbled onto this “Cuban” restaurant. I figured I would purchase a meal for my toddler which loves to eat rice and black beans. Her favorite actually, so imagine how thrilled I was when I saw this restaurant. I ordered grilled chicken breast with rice and beans. For starters the rice was yellow rice which is not typically how rice and beans are served. Generally it will be white rice with the beans, however I still decided to give it a go. My toddler literally didn’t swallow the food and told me she wanted nothing to do with the beans. I tried the food and honestly it’s theeee worst food I’ve ever had. The chicken couldn’t be blander unless it was alive still, incredibly dry. I mean forest fire dry. The rice was more like Mexican rice, a bad one at that, and the beans, I’ve had better straight from the Goya can. Undeniably not a Cuban restaurant. Please call this what it is which is a mediocre Mexican restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement once I saw how many non-Hispanic customers where eating there and getting swindled into thinking this is good Cuban OR Mexican food. Thumbs all the way down!!!!

To go counter is gone. Cubano had good ingredients but not pressed enough and was small for $16.

The Cuban Sandwich is literally to die for ! The spicy sauce is a great addition to the sandwich. Definitely top 5 of best Cuban sandwiches in the city. Friendly service as well :). Highly recommend

22 bucks for a medium quality steak (3 1/2 oz) and wasn't cooked the way I ordered it to be. The staff was kind enough, bar tender was cool and a stern server. Asked for a table, they had us sit at the bar (whatever). If you're gringo, it won't matter to you because you don't know and besides it's probably your parents money. But there are a million other places I'd rather spend my hard earned money at and it's not a place that's gives me a side plate of meat, rice and beans. This place is a gimmick for the not so cultured.

If you're starving and want (authentic) cuban don't bother coming here. While we're well aware of high prices for dinner in manhattan, the serving sizes are absolutely laughable for the price. The staff was very nice and helpful which I would have given them a better rating. Being cuban myself, this place is a gimmicky mexican joint pretending to be cuban

Quaint spot in Soho, almost an institution. Small but lively dining room. One of my favorite spots in the neighborhood. Service was excellent, they took us even though they were closing. The burrito was great and the BEST Mexican Corn in the city, always cooked perfectly. Would recommend against and again.

This is our go-to place whenever we are shopping at Soho. We always order the corn, cubano and Mexican coke. This time I also tried the drip coffee. It wasn't dripped in front of me but I really enjoyed the coffee.

Could have been an off day, but I was disappointed. Got the corn, which was Okay (not even close to the best elotes I’ve had), pork taco which was underseasoned and dry, and a shrimp taco— shrimp was over cooked but other toppings were good. Overall thought it was overpriced for the quality. Was so excited to try this place too so I was pretty bummed.

So many memories about this place and cafe habana. Grilled corn and steak salad are my favorites.
