No photos because it was take out but let's keep it simple. Incredible Cantonese roast meats. The roast pork is elite - sweet, juicy and fatty. By far the best in Chinatown currently. The scallion oil chicken was also very good - well seasoned and juicy to boot. Counter space only if you want to eat in so the majority of orders here will be take out. Prices are about the same as other establishments in the area but they only take cash. Big time thumbs up.

Really great spot for different Chinese meats. Great roasted pig, charsiu and roast duck. The scallion chicken was on the salty side but fine with rice and veggies. Will definitely be back.

The food was decent but I can’t stomach soy sauce chicken without soy sauce on the side. Just the ginger scallion is not enough. Maybe they forgot because it was too busy. They need more help. The power of social media.

A good spot to buy chinese dish in a box for takeaway. All meats are freshly roasted and being displayed in front so you can see how they prepare your order. They have pork, chicken, duck, cuttlefish. Ordered one dish meal and it was freshly hot. A must place to grab food

Not bad, simple and fast. There’s not much of seating. Probably 8 individuals seats alone the wall. There’s a clean restroom, which is a plus in Chinatown. The food was good. There meats selections weren’t that fatty from the window section. However, the veg dish from the kitchen could be better. Most of their orders are local walking or online, not much of tourists.

Bought a pound of crispy pork here, to go; the cashier warned me it might cost more because they can’t cut an exact pound. Which is fair enough, the butcher cuts a rib, usually, of course it won’t be precise. Then she tells me it will be two pounds; when I protested that it was too much ($13/lb as of this writing, 2 lbs would be $26), she handed me a box with a rib and… half a piece. I’m not sure why she couldn’t have just given me the rib and kept the half pound for someone’s rice or half pound order. I’m uncertain this is normal, but be aware. I didn’t try it until I got home for some hours, but I found the meat tough and salty, which was a disappointment.

The roasted pork was really good and definitely worth getting. I have tried the duck as well as the char siu before and thought they were just okay. I also got the R15 and it was really good. They give a lot of rice but I don't think the rice is that good. Overall, definitely worth buying since it was really fast and affordable.

This is the BEST roasted pork I've ever had in my entire life and for the price like are you kidding??? The meat is tender and juicy the fat was amazing and the skin was just out of this world crispy! Def recommend this place super underrated and I hope it gets the attention it deserves.

Overall, great option for a quick cheap meal! We got there right before the rush, ordered, and sat at the high tops. It's cash only. We got the hay hay trio (char siu, egg, veggies) and 2 combo meal (duck and pork) Duck: I thought this was so good, super fatty (maybe some people don't like this) and skin was very crispy. Char siu: this was everyone's favorite - classic, sweet, wasn't dry at all. Crispy pork: I wish it was fattier, but the skin was indeed crispy. None of the meats were dry actually and tasted relatively fresh (though nothing was hot). There's a good amount of rice and comes with some veggies so I'd say it's a pretty filling meal and worth the price!

Located on Mott St, off Canal St. Small place with counter seating only by a wall. Cash only. The crispy pork was cooked well and tasted delicious (have had pork in other eateries with an unpleasant taste); same with the roast duck. No complaints about the taste but there was a misunderstanding in my order. I asked for 3-selection x3 of same order. When I asked for the combo of meats, the lady at the counter asked if I wanted each meat separate instead, and I said no. Was watching them prep my order and noticed just 1 meat per, so I asked to confirm and order was wrong. I was then told that I should have ordered "3-selection" which I did. They did correct it, but I think the amount they gave was less than usual. Oh well, hope all's good next time.

Quick service Cantonese bbq stall. I bought one pound of the honey roasted pork for $13, which is slightly pricier than at New York Mart but I found the pork here taste better, much juicier and a little more fatty. They also have drinks in plastic bags and I like the Hong Kong milk tea - very strong tea flavor and not too sweet! There are a few seats in the back if you prefer dine in. Cash only!

I've been to Hay Hay a few times and liked the food. However, last week's take out was barely edible and we ended up throwing away most of the food. Cha Siu looked like bits and pieces of dried left overs. This week I went to Big Wong's for Cha Siu & it was very good.
