I have so much respect for Hector's, I was going to call it a survivor, but that's condescending, privileged, it's not, it's one of the last real things it the neighborhood, great food, great service, a bit of real for breakfast, lunch, after or mid way through a day of gallery hoping and the Whitney in the meat packing district.. a go to for so many years for small time art parvenu's like me...Whatever, get over yourselves, old is cool classic diner, if your expecting something else go elsewhere..

Place is wayyyyyy over priced for subpar food and presentation....they might as well close the doors already...all I had was scramble eggs with home fries and bacon..17$ and this is without a drink.

If your looking for a local NYC dinner this is it. It certainly isn’t a tourist spot. The staff was very friendly and food came out quickly. The menu had many choices and the staff new many of the regulars by name. Prices were good as well as the food.

Came here with my family trying to get a bite to eat on our way out headed back to Illinois. The staff were extremely friendly and the food did not take long at all to come out. They are huge, so there was something for all of us. It was extremely affordable.

Staff was rude to us when we walked in. Once we were seated, they ignored us until it was clearly time to leave.
I love when I see a tiny diner that seems out of place in NYC. Hector’s is still servicing simple, delicious breakfast.Delicious pancakes, but I wouldn’t spend extra to add blueberries. The pancakes had so few of them scattered around I almost forgot I ordered blueberry pancakes.

Service was below average and the food was not good, had a Philly cheese wrap with fries, tasteless blnd meat, low quality cheese and cardboard tasting fries. Price was far too high. Wish I could get a refund. I would not recommend the

The service here is great! The burger taste literally like cardboard. I ate it bc I’m too hungry but I can clearly tell that the meat and the bread has NO flavor. TERRIBLE FOOD. The Diet Coke got a lot of gas in it GOOD.
