Favorite late night big group hang in the neighborhood! They're always open, and willing to put tables together for 10+ people. They even allow separate checks! And they're not grumpy! Are we even in NYC? They keep your water glass full, everything is clean, and the menu has just about anything you could want. The pancakes are really good and full of fresh fruit. I'm not as big a fan of their desserts (the tiramisu is heavy on the sponge cake, and the homemade apple pie has a chemical taste to it). All in all, excellent service, good menu, lots of vegetarian options if you want real food.

I have come here several times since I come to 17th street nearby for my hair salon. I have always either had scrambled eggs or a BLT (they are great here). My experience until today was that the service was ok, the food was typical diner food (but I loved their BLTs), nice breakfast, but today? X-Nay. I wanted a hamburger. "Did I want a hamburger deluxe?" No. Just a medium hamburger. I got a thin, overcooked hockey puck on a toasted white roll, a pickle, and a teensy paper cup of cole slaw. Gross. I then asked for some lettuce and tomato on the burger ("You said you didn't want deluxe; I asked you!"). Coffee. And the guy disappeared. That was 18 dollars. About this place, you probably could come in the morning and have breakfast (or BLT), but don't be surprised if you see a roach (I saw one the last time I was there) or it is so noisy you can't hear yourself think. I went with a friend with poor hearing and we simply couldn't talk because of the noise level. Feel sort of sad because it's an old fashioned NY diner and there just aren't enough of them.

Typical American diner, the food isn't bad either (we had a chili con carne and a grilled cheese), BUT:1. the service is insistent, we just wanted some water but they kept asking us if we wanted drinks or anything else. Realizing they wouldn't have these extras, they almost threw our plates on the table.2. they randomly added $6 to our final bill and gave hasty and unclear explanations, referring to the chips (included in the dish);3. the environment of this diner is not the cleanest we have found in NY.

Absolutely rude. I was sitting outside with my service dog. Drinking three teas. I asked them multiple times if it is OK if I just stay around for the teas instead of eating something because I came just back from the dentist. They said it is no problem. After 20 minutes, they came to check on me all the time. Shortly after they made me pay and leave. And they told me that I am not worthy of their service, because the heating would be too expensive to just have the heating lamp on just for me alone. There were heating lamps over each table. And I only used one. Just like every other guest would have done too. Matter fact, they have turned it on for me. They kept on opening the door, so that cold air would come in, probably hoping I would leave faster.

Order from here often, food is always tasty delivered quickly and hot. That said it's pretty pricey, but I guess that's Bidenomics!
Came in on a Sunday night after a long shift. The burger with fries was awesome, it was actually super tasty, a perfect diner smash burger. The service was perfect, all the guys there genuinely care about hospitality. A gem! Will have to come back for breakfast.
