This restaurant is CLOSED. We made a reservation for 930 on Valentine's Day. They took a $50 deposit. We showed up and it has been closed for months. Completely ruined Valentine's Day.

Those "ones" are only to allow me to write this. IL MULINO PRIME GRAMERCY DOESN'T EXIST ANY MORE, AND HADN'T FOR AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE YOU ALL SENT ME A CONFIRMATION! Gross incompetence on YOUR part (I can't gauge the role of the restaurant itself in this). Let me repeat: not "closed", as for an event or a fire or something; I mean, shut down, abandoned, etc. Do I make myself clear? Fortunately for us, an excellent restaurant around the corner squeezed us in and we had a delightful evening, absolutely no help from OpenTable. You really messed up this one.

We come every time we are in town. The service is always spectacular! Every employee makes you feel like an old friend. The wine, fantastic!!! And the food ... wow. Just wow. Risotto, veal Marsala, oysters, tiramisu. SO good!!! Can't wait to return!!! Thank you for another wonderful experience!!

I only went to this restaurant because my date was a Drake fan and Drake mentions this place in a rap. I was incredibly underwhelmed. I guess it's a good hide away spot for super stars. It's quiet. You can hear yourself talk. We had an ok time. Everything was fine. It's expensive and forgettable but at the same time there's nothing offensive about the place. It's minimal chic. The wait staff are great. I don't know. I guess it all depends on what kind of evening you're looking for. It's fine. I would probably not go back. I'd probably not reccomend it. But if you are going then go. And if you go with a fun crowd you may even have a very good time.

This is one of the premier Italian restaurants around the city. The experience & ambiance was one to be remembered and touted about. The food and the waiting staff is of the highest quality.. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the experience.

Mulino Prime Gramercy offers classic Italian American fare in a premium setting with pricing to match. The environment is modern and comfortable. The staff is welcoming and very attentive. Menu choices include dishes you'll find at "red sauce joints" interpreted for fine dining. You'll be able to taste the imported ingredients. Bravo. Il Mulino has sustained and thrived. Yet, we'd like to find greater value during our next visit.

The food was very poorly prepared and frankly not that good. It's really ambitious of the restaurant to be charging as much as they are for the quality of the food they are serving.

The service excellent as soon as we entered. Michael made us feel like regular customers. The appetizers were great. They made a half portion of the porcini mushroom ravioli, which was a nice touch. Entrees were done very well, and lived up to their reputation. Waiter was attentive, and allowed us plenty of time to enjoy our meals. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for Italian food in NYC.

Really excellent Italian food, lovely service, a very classic NYC restaurant experience. Did our work holiday dinner there and they are a perfect spot for that. Old school and pricey, but that is what you expect in Grammercy!

This was one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had! From the moment we walked in it was an amazing experience. The service was impeccable, the ambiance was on point & the tiramisu was to die for and I'm super picky when it comes to tiramisu. Il Mulino made the 1st evening of our honeymoon one to remember forever!

I have dined at Il Mulino Soho location several times and each time was wonderful. But today was my first time at Flatiron district location and for sure the last time. It was just terrible! Everything was terrible. From the manager getting us the table, to the servers. The food, was tasteless, honestly terrible, especially for such restaurant as Il Mulino, I was shocked for this bad experience. I ordered Caesar salad and got a few uncut pieces of dry lettuce with not even olive oil on it, and it wasn’t even fresh. I had ordered a whole wheat pasta with alió olio and broccoli rabe and the dish had no color and no flavor. I ordered the Salmon, and it was terrible as well. I couldn’t believe it. seriously, I’m sad to write such bad review but I paid over 160$ for a very bad experience. The service was so bad. And each glass of wine was 25$ !!! On a Sancerre. When we set down, no server even came to us to greet us or anything. I had to ask for someone to pay attention to us after at least ten minutes of wait.I loved and enjoyed so much I’m Mulino Soho and I thought the standard will be the same at this location. And this is why I feel so bad writing such bad review but this is the honest true.I hope you guys work on your service and food quality because people spend their precious time and money to dine out and you need to respect that and provide with a valuable exchange.

Because of its reputation we were very excited for this reservation. They sat our party of 8 right away with a great table and even offered a better table when it came up. They took our drink order and 5 out of the 8 drinks arrived within a reasonable time but it took around 20-30 minutes to bring our wine and that was only after we went to find our server to remind her. They brought out some delicious bread and cheese but it went a bit downhill from there. Generally our food was just ok. One person ordered salmon and it took 3 tries for it not to be over cooked or raw. The kitchen quality control seemed to be missing. We were not asked how we wanted our bill and it came out as just one bill. They would not break it down by couples nor had they removed the $50 salmon which was never received as ordered nor eaten. When we asked about removing the salmon the self proclaimed very experienced server said she did not know how to do it nor was there a manager available to help. The bill was around $1000 with only $150 of that being a bottle of wine. Ridiculous price for average food and marginal service.

The food was just ok. The clams oreganata we sent back. The entrees came and they forgot the sides so we were halfway done with dinner before they came. Really expensive for meh food.

Had a wonderful experience and so happy that they have gluten free options. The ambience is very soothing and lovely after a hectic NYC day. They were very accommodating as I requested clams and linguini gluten free style. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Food is amazing. House made pasta, ingredients are fresh in everything and it tastes like a party in every bite. We had apps, entrees, and desserts. All 5 stars. And the portion sizes are perfect. Service is incredible. Atmosphere is intimate, but not isolating. You'll have a blast here.
