I have to admit, India Kitchen was certainly great. There was absolutely nothing to complain about here. What a wonderful dish Saag Paneer was. Absolutely mind-blowing. Staff is really pleasant and will help you with everything. Def will be returning.

Soooo good! The best Indian food I've ever had! Unfortunately they don't have outdoor sitting so just pick up and take out but we took our food to the park nearby perfect service, really nice staff we'll be back soon

Been ordering takeout here for over a year now. Great food and fast service. Would 100% recommend. Love the Naan and the Chicken Tikka Masala.

Rice and Naan were good but the chicken tikka masala was tasteless and flavorless. I couldnt taste any spice or any fragments of flavor compared to other places.

This is a great local spot for delicious Indian. The seasoning always seems to be spot on, with fresh ingredients. The veggie dishes are a highlight. Very nice owner and staff.

Great food. Our go-to for naan.

Great food. Got the Badami Chicken, perfectly balanced flavors and the acidity was justtt right. Maybe a bit more oil could’ve been used on the chicken to make it more savory, but it’s good regardless. Also healthier without it so ?‍♂️

It's been a few years now, but this place is still amazingly consistent in churning out some of the best (in my humble opinion, the best) Indian food in Manhattan. We've ordered across (almost) the whole menu by now, so a quick rundown on our favorites: Appetizers - The aloo tikki is comfort food heaven. The right amount of crispy and a burst of flavorful sauces. - Gobi Manchurian makes non-vegetarians fall in love with vegetarian food, hands down. - Their samosas are crispy, filled with flavor, and makes you feel like home. I can no longer have these (GF), but the hubs continue to indulge. Mains - Their Malai Kofta is hands down our favorite dish. Period. It's probably the biggest reason we keep coming back over and over again, and it's a MUST order as once you've tried it... you might be hooked like us. - Tandoori anything. The first visit here, we ordered their Tandoori chicken and realized... this is NOT your typical neighborhood Indian restaurant. It's way better. That's how we found out this was the former crew from my favorite Michelin starred Indian restaurant that I used to go and pay 2-3x at. - Their Chicken Tikka Masala is the perfect combination of savory and sweet. So satisfying and filling, - The Saag Paneer here is spiced perfectly, versus a watered-down bland version I unfortunately see at many other places. We typically order this as the healthy dish to balance out the other deliciously comforting dishes we order alongside it. - Goat Curry and Lamb Vindaloo are both amazing - a bit spicy for my taste, but if I could handle spice, man... these are pretty awesome. - Shrimp and Lamb Briyani - we love these, they're so flavorful, but then we fill up our bellies with Malai kofta and chicken tikka so these end up getting ordered less often. Others - Their garlic naan is a MUST if you can get gluten (I sadly had to move over to rice). Brushed with pungent garlic and such an amazing aromatic chewiness in every bite. - Ras Malai and Rice Kheer are also both refreshing cold dessert desserts to finish off the meal. - Mango lassi and Chai tea... two things we always end up with because it's tasty. I've become celiac and thus, strictly gluten free is a must the last few years. We still continue to try this place with me picking over some of the dishes above. Given the cross-contamination of flour though, I would not suggest celiacs eat here - but for everyone else that's looking for gluten-free, the kitchen is very accommodating and the staff is wonderful in helping identify which dishes are safe. It's nice to see them still deliver and do take out during this stay-at-home period and keeping up the morale of New Yorkers. Give this place a shot and support a local business!
