Came in with a friend for brunch this morning and everything was absolutely delicious. Great service, not rushed, and really kind staff. Glad I came! Will be returning soon.

Sat there for 20 mins while staffers milled around us. Asked three times who our server was and nobody seemed to know. One server told us they would get to us "as soon as they could" and we waited another 10 mins before leaving. Understaffed by rude and overworked people. Avoid at all costs. (Also - bar is devoid of most good whiskies).

Food is really just average. Sent back the chicken parm bc it was pounded to about a 1/4 inch thickness which resulted in a dry brick like substance being delivered to my table with zero garnish. Geez, it was like a typical restaurant a Marriott hotel. Oh yeah, this is located in a Marriott. Do you need to know more? Server walked by my table numerous times w/o making eye contact or subtlety checking on the table which, as a former server, drives me fng crazy. Just dont eat here, ok! P.s. staff in the see through kitchen seem utterly annoyed and disinterested.

Very disappointed in the manager, Daniel. We've been staying at the W Hotel with Our whole family for almost a week. Today we went into the restaurant for the first time. I was coming from Starbucks and had a couple coffees in hand when I walked in. Daniel asked for proof of vaccination (as he should), so I put the Starbucks cups on the counter right in front of him, and he never said a word about them. After 20 minutes he came to our table to announce that we had to either finish them or dispose of them. I explained I was a hotel guest and was just coming from Starbucks, and he said it was their policy that food from other companies was not consumed in the restaurant. That is a fair policy, but why did he not say anything when I put them on the counter in front of him on the way in? And of course we were in the process of "finishing them" because that's what you do with your coffee. The point is that by doing what he did, he just upset a customer. The cups just sat there throughout the meal, and all he achieved was to upset a restaurant customer and a hotel guest. Poor customer service and very shortsighted of Daniel over something insignificant. We will not eat there again.

Restaurant was not busy at all. Took 30 minutes for our drinks to come out and my boyfriends drink was forgotten and took 20 min to come out. Immediately ordered a second round because we knew it would take forever. The food and cocktails were good.

Food is alright, but quiet simple and not a lot of choice. For the price we could expect better.Staff is slow and we had to ask 3 times and different staff to get coffees we’ve ordered and then sugar.

Consistently the best breakfast joint in NYC for the last 12 years. My wife and I found it in 2009 and have fallen in love with it. Amazing french toast, the best French Press coffee, beautiful atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Great vibe. Food is decent. Bloody Mary is not great, was pretty much just horseradish.

Sometimes I go out of the way to stop by here just for the espresso ($4). That's how much I like the coffee here. Food is phenomenal. Never crowded, which I'm pretty sure is because prices are a bit expensive compared to other brunch places in the neighborhood.

This was the last place my girlfriend and I stopped to have drinks and a bite to eat before heading back to Boston, and it was excellent!

Dined here for my birthday with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other table occupied in the restaurant and yet service was slow. My friend asked our busboy for salt and he forgot it. Eventually, our waiter brought it, who was unfriendly during our entire time there. He never smiled. None of the waitstaff wore masks, which was kind of surprising to me. The menu is very limited. Pizza on the menu was not available. We were also told they had no eggs and no potatoes. My friend ordered the hanger steak, which was supposed to come with a "cured yolk" but it didn't since they had no eggs and yet our waiter said it was inside. I ordered the burger, which no longer comes with crispy onions so that was a disappointment. The burger was very ordinary. I couldn't even taste the cheddar and I think the meat had gristle in it. Not worth $20. Since I had indicated we were celebrating my birthday when I made the reservation, I was hoping they would bring out a complimentary dessert. When it was clear they were not going to bring any, we decided to order the banana bread brownies. It is only one of two desserts on the menu and comes with vanilla ice cream and fudge sauce. The brownies were not worth $13. Actual banana bread would have been better. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Based on the food I would rate this place average to above average and it is also very clean. Also it has never been crowded when I've gone which can also be seen as a con. The reason I'm giving it a low review is because we were treated very rudely and essentially refused seating with two well behaved dogs (yes yes I know everyone says that about their dogs) the last time we tried going when the previous two times they apparently had no issues with pets in the restaurant and actually welcomed them. In either case they need to get their policies straight and also their hospitality. I don't think that's the reason the restaurant was more than half empty at prime Sunday brunch time but it certainly turned us away.

What happened to this place? So many fond memories of climaxing at Irvington have been supplanted by demonstrably bad dining experiences. Not only is the menu wrong - my arugula side salad actually was half kale and now the fiber overload is causing a fecal crisis - but the wait staff is unequipped to handle even a small volume of tables. As my friend James says, "I'm way too rich to deal with anything that isn't perfect and I f****** hate the middle class."

The lobby/lounge area here is incredibly relaxing, and ever since Gerber Group has taken over this space, the service and food have exponentially elevated there game. I can't get enough of this spot, I'm just grateful that I work nearby and am able to patron this bar on a regular basis.
