We got the English breakfast tea, Aussie Iced , fried fish Sando, and shrimp rigatoni. It was so good. I will be coming back for sure. There's other food and drinks that l I wanted to try. Friendly staff. The place gives off the cozy feel.

Came here for the espresso martini flight and it was fun and yummy! Great spot if you're in the midtown area for a drink and a bite. We also had fries, sausage roll and fish sandwich - all were good (not photographed)! Service was good but it was a bit slow. And worth noting it's located in a hotel!

Came here on a whim - needed a spot near Grand Central for a quick lunch. Both got drinks - yummy! We also both got burgers, they were huge!! The burger was yummy (probably not medium as requested, but was good nonetheless). The French fries were sooo good. Service was good. I'd come back if I was in the neighborhood and needed something on the quicker/casual side.

I came for the oysters but oysters are no longer on the menu. The person at the bar was extremely nice.

Cool Australian restaurant with amazing espresso martini flights! Very warm, inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and great food.Service: Ask for Jose—he’s rolo from Bogotá, and is really friendly.Food: The Brussel sprouts, halloumi, fish sando, fish and chips, lamb, and chicken parm were all excellent. We topped dinner off with the a floral affogato and a date cake, both which were ?Drink: Definitely recommend the flights of three different varieties of espresso martinis ☕️? —one of which is made with olive oil(!) for $25 (and you can add on an regular espresso martini for $10 extra).Value: Despite being located in a hotel, it’s not crazy outrageously priced. A good value, I’d say!I wish I took pictures, but the other reviews are pretty spot on ?

This restaurant brings the vibrant flavors of Australia to the bustling streets of NYC.But what truly stole the show for me was their Italian-inspired Espresso Martini – an absolute delight for the senses! Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced, it's a true standout.

NOT good! I ordered a salad and it came without half of the ingredients listed - it was literally just lettuce and pickled onion. When we asked the chef about it, they said since they ran out of ingredients they just served it like that! Not

I dined here last night. Service was great; hostess and servers were prompt and friendly. The vibe was good—a bit loud but a nice ambience, though they could use another restroom—seemed to only have one single unisex option so it was busy and there were often people waiting—it was directly behind our table. They offered us a free espresso martini flight because apparently they had made an extra and we had already ordered two individual martinis—a nice gesture. Sadly—the food was a disappointment. Lack of flavor and nothing remarkable. Fish and chips entree —one piece of fish and basic fries. Burger was well cooked but again, needed more seasoning or something. I asked for mine without the bun, and it also arrived without the promised kimchi which would have helped. The only thing we all enjoyed were the Brussels Sprouts. But really, nothing to distinguish this fare as Australian versions of familiar dishes.

I also ordered the Spring Fling saladI still can’t get over that the server brought our salads half naked. I have never seen that at a restaurant. Says a lot of the chef and how they might not have pride with other things coming from their kitchen. The service wasn’t good but at least they were nice I guess. The Brussel sprouts were really good but get them to go.

The food was great but the beginning aspect was not the best. Online said they opened at 10:00 AM so I arrived at 11:30 AM where they told me they weren't opening till noon that day and to come back. I apologized and stated their website said they were already open. I left and did a small walk in the area and came back at 11:50 AM where they again told me they can't sit me till 12 when they open. I was the only one there so I did find it odd they can't just sit me down so instead I sat outside for 10 minutes. Besides the beginning though the food and drinks were good.

Inspired by Australia's diverse culinary influences and love for quality ingredients, Isla and Co. features dishes like Kangaroo Skewers, Spicy Shrimp Vodka Rigatoni, and signature cocktails such as the Espresso Martini Flight. They prioritize a friendly and engaging atmosphere, with a beverage program highlighting natural wines, craft beers, and unique cocktails. Their coffee program, influenced by Melbourne's coffee culture, offers specialty blends roasted in Denver.Espresso Martini is the cocktail of the month this March at Isla and Co. Crowned as the greatest cocktail in the world, espresso martini will be celebrated all month where you can enjoy a rotation of signature Espresso Martinis. Delight in the classic Original Espresso Martini made with vodka, Mr. Black, house-roasted espresso and demerara, followed by the tempting Olive Temptation made with Starward Australian whiskey, the Scarlett Rose with tequila reposado and the Coco Devine, made with cocoa infused rum. Some of the standouts from the menu include Kangaroo Tucker (traditional Australian rubbed Kangaroo skewered over herbed tahini, marinated cucumbers, and pickled onions) and Spicy Prawns Vodka Rigaton (pomodoro, heavy cream, Calabrian chilis with prawns)Other dishes that stood out were Braised Lamb Shoulder (wilted greens, crispy fingerlings, zhoug) and Fish and Chips (Atlantic cod, citrus tartar sauce, and crispy fries)

Came here because we heard about the espresso martini flight and how amazing it was and didn't like a single one of them...after reading so many reviews I'm thinking maybe we got a bad batch. But when we walked in no one was at the desk to check us in and when we finally talked to the girl behind the bar she acted as if we were a burden. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the Brussels sprouts were absolutely delicious! Maybe just get those to go!

I stumbled upon Isla & Co. in New York when looking for a brunch bite before leaving the city. I was initially hesitant because it's a hotel restaurant, but after stepping inside, I was happily surprised! The decor is STUNNING and the brunch options are fantastic, offering a variety of choices. I especially loved my breakfast burger. They are best known for their espresso martinis (you can even get a martini flight), but I was pleasantly surprised by how excellent their other cocktails were. It's definitely an amazing find worth discovering for yourself in the city!
